Has Kirstie Alley Lost Her Weight Battle?

Has Kirstie Alley gained back the weight she so famously lost on the Jenny Craig program?

Rumors are swirling that Kirstie lost her weight battle after the actress was spotted looking heavier in recent pictures.

It didn’t help that in her newest Jenny Craig commercial, she’s seen sitting down behind the wheel of a car.

But Jenny Craig herself is telling “Extra” those rumors are absolutely false!

“She’s still 75 pounds lighter than when she started the program,” Jenny said.

NEXT: Mel Gibson's Déjà Vu?

Ahhhhh…if she has gained the weight back I would not be surprised as that is ALWAYS what seems to happen when you try one of these kinda diets and other diets when ya do not exercise and really change your habits! I also beleive that our genes play a big part in how we look when we get older. Some things we cannot change no matter what. But….I never paid attention to Kristy much as she just BOTHERS the heck out of me. Something about her seems phony yet you all claim she is this and that and blah blah..yet NOBODY knows her. She just seems full of herself or something…she bugs me, and if she gets fat again I could care less. She IS OBNOXIOUS to see and listen to so if she just disappeared and got fat again I would not miss her one bit. Kinda sick of seeing her on all those Jenny Craig commercials, and I always noticed how they staged the pictures to be just right to make her look thinner..but I saw she was always fat no matter what weight she lost. So..this is more a joke on Kristy. Now everybody will laugh at her some more! Nice.

I think most of you are too involved relating yourselves to the situation. Please take a step back and see the real message. This is not only a social issue of how we see ourselves. As a physician who cares for many people of different sizes, and ages, the key issue here is quality of health and life. It is certainly proven that obesity leads to many health issues. Look at the childhood diabetes endemic we are going through. Heart disease, foot and knee problems, blood pressure issues are all elevated in the overweight. One may choose to lead his/her own lifestyles, but other people and children often tend to copy what they see. From the cosmetic side of weight problem, cellulite, rolls, rashes, and odors are far from being attractive. Do everyone a favor and watch what you consume, both quality and quantity. You are the only one to reap the benefits, not me.

IF OVER-EATING IS CONSIDERED AN EATING DISORDER, CAN A TRUE SCIENTOLOGIST BE FAT? MAKES ONE WONDER.

Kristi will always be beuatiful because of the person she is inside (not that I know her but what I have seen in interviews). But the bottom line is that you need to be comfortable with your self. 110 lbs. or 200+ lbs. its all about you and if your happy with where you are at…Are you happy with yourself or are you throwing stones…..

Kirstie looks great. I know she weighed more like 270 lbs. not 220!!!!! Who do they think they’re kidding??? Same with Oprah! She was about the same at her heaviest! Why lie??? Hey, they got off some weight and they look good!!

DJ, Kirstie admitted on Oprah that she had a kind of a body suit on underneath that swimsuit, which held in her legs, thighs, everything. Sure, everyone, she lost a lot of weight, but she was still heavy at the time of that appearance on Oprah. I hope she has not gained back the weight she did lose as she is always beautiful. I happen to think she weighed more than the 220 pounds she claimed to have weighed. It was pretty obvious that she weighed more than 220 in some of her pre-weight loss pictures.

LISTEN - SHE WENT PUBLIC TO THE NATION A NATION THAT IS FATTER THAN ALL THE OTHER NATIONS. SHE GOT PAID ALOT OF MONEY TO REPRESENT A DIET PLAN THAT SHE APPEARED TO BELIEVE IN ENOUGH TO PROMOTE TO THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. ALL THE PRESS IS SAYING IS THAT SHE IS FAT AGAIN. THEY DID NOT SAY SHE WAS NOT PRETTY OR NOT A NICE PERSON. WHEN YOU REPRESENT YOURSELF AS A WEIGHT LOSS REPRESENTATIVE THEN YOU REALLY SHOULD NOT PACK ON POUNDS. IF YOU ARE FAT THEN YOU ARE FAT. NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT IT.

oh please….
Kirstie will always be known as “fat actress”… if we watch the Oprah show carefully that day, one will see, sure she came out in a bathing suit.. her stomach and front side may of looked slim, but her thighs and back side was covered up by a flowing sheer cover that she kept moving, a great disquise in covering up nonflattering parts of our body… if your eye was carefull one did see nonflattering thighs and buttock that looked like no weight loss was acheived… if we say we lost a certain number of pounds long enough to whoever listens we tend to believe it ourselves… something must be happening or else we would still see her on t.v. advertising weight loss… remember the neck and the face are the first places to show, and true, you can notice it there… but come… if she is as this as she says she is, then lets see it, instead of making it an advertising gimmick with certain stances and looks to appear thinner than we really are…

I was around when full figured women were in thing. All artists deplict full figured women. Paris and such are teenagers who first have to grow emotionally then talk about how great/not great these teeny bobbers are. Not when they don’t have any brains to make major decisions not by using money they never made. Make them go out with real people and see how they stand out. Britney, Paris Lindsey and Nicole have a lot to learn.
thanks for letting me have my say.

I am a woman with a few extra pounds and I have had a stomach stapling. At this point in my life, I have decided that I was bound to be fat and oh well, if you don’t want to look, DON’T. I have been in movies, tv and a few other public appearances and people still tell me I am beautiful. I truely believe a beautiful woman will shin from within and some pretty women on the outside are damn ugly inside. I think Kitstie looks great and she did when she was over weight. Give it a rest public, these people cannot stay on a pedestal forever they are human and like all of us have flaws.

Oprah made the mistake of endorsing a liquid diet that turned out to be only a temporary weight loss fix. She convinced millions of fans that a pure liquid diet was the way to go. Then she gained the weight back and more.

Kirstie, by endorsing Jenny Craig, has taken on the responsibility to the public to “put up” or “shut up”. If she is gaining back the weight then she owes it to the public to be honest. It is not fair to all of us in the “real world” to be misled. Come on Kirstie. Keep it real!

It takes decades for the maturity level for some to come. Maybe never for some. BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. AND I BEHOLDING MORE FAT THAN I’D LIKE!

As a woman of 52, I have personally witnessed the difference of treatment by people depending on whether I was slim, middling, or hefty, hefty, hefty. (Sorry, I can’t help but think of a big, black waste bag with being this size!)

When I was young and lovely, heads would turn when I entered a room (helps that I am 5’11”; about 6’2” in heels). As I grew older and gradually put on the pounds… when I entered a room, nobody would even notice. Ah, just as well.

Well, heads are turning again, but it’s due to my large size. Whatever!

I try VERY hard to control what I eat, but I cannot exercise like I used to do. In fact, it was the years of running and other exercise that ruined my feet, my knees, my hips, and my back.
Now nearly crippled with arthritis, several bad disks, and knees that need replacement. This is not an excuse, it is a reality.

I’m trying swimming, now, and it’s aggravated the pains in my legs and shoulders. WHATEVER!!

Starvation is the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me … for the short term. Controlled starvation is called moderation by others.

But… the main thing is this… people should not be judged by others just because they are heavy. This is the American way, however, and it is pathetic. I know TONS of lovely women that are heavy… men, too.

Would we all rather be skinny? YOU BETCHA!
