Gerard Butler is the sexiest actor I have seen in a long time. If there is one actor that has to bear his bod I sure hope its him.

I agree with the fact that Mr. Butler is very talented and a good looking man. But to love him?! come on..get real, you don’t even know him.

I love gerard butler! Love too much! I wrote a story to him, for a film, maybe. How can I send it to him? Please, if somebody know that, tell me!

So much negativity. I didn’t know this site was ONLY for serious discussion about Mr. Ritchie’s latest film. I am a big fan of his movies as well. Hope this one is great. But about that Gerry Butler…..

This looks like an awesome film. I don’t know much about Guy Ritchie (besides that he’s Madonna’s husband), but he seems cool in this clip and I’m excited to see his movie.

As for Gerry, I hope this and the rest of his latest projects are going to continue to take him in the direction he deserves. I’m a big fan, but quite honestly there are maybe three of his films that I actually can say I really like.

This is going to be a good movie…and I’m glad Gerry is a part of it.

Can’t you yanks pronouce pronounce his name properly? It’s Gerard. Thats jeh - rarrd. Not j’rod. Lol. Interesting video Mr Madonna seems to patched it up with the missus don’t you think?

When Gerry came to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro - 300, premiere - I was there! The man is gorgeous, kind, cheerfull and lovely. He gave me one kiss on each cheek and a lot of attention to all of us, his fans. I wish that you all someday, meet him personally.
I’ll never forget this marvelous day…
and this great man and great actor…Gerard Butler. By the way, I loved this video.

Loved the interview. Terri Seymour nailed it when she said we’d all be jealous. Would love to be on the other end of that manhandleing hug.

The only thing that annoys me is after all these years, is they still don’t even TRY to pronounce Gerry’s name correctly. Hell, I even have trouble with it, but I pronounce it like “JEROD” which is far better than saying “GER-ARRRRD” - I don’t know..just bugs me. If our guy ever gets nominated for an Oscar we are going to have to get a petition going. They have to say his name right. He deserves it.

As for the new role..lovin’ the bad boys! Let me guess though.. he dies in this film? LOL! I think he’s going for a record!

I’m so happy for our actor. He deserves this. The world loves him and finally sees what we have seen all along.

He’s always been our King, and now Hollywood is finally giving him his crown.

Love ya, G! Best of luck!

Dana hit the nail on the head about what the others were trying to say that the Gerard Butler fans don’t seem to get. Obsess over your guy, just please do it on your own fansites. Your overwhelming lust and love for the guy isn’t going to make me lust/love him. Seeing him do a killer job in Rocknrolla and any other film will get me to appreciate him enough to see him again. The guy hugs nice - so does my Uncle Sonny. He has gorgeous whatever color eyes - so does my husband. He’s so sensitive, loving and caring. Really? You know him well? I’m not saying he is or isn’t, because I don’t actually know him. yada yada yada

I loved 300 and I think he was good, but the fact is pretty much any decent-sized man willing to work his body could have done that part. I’m not saying Butler didn’t do it well, he did, it’s just that 300 was going to be a huge success with or without him because of the overwhelming excellence of the entire movie. The standout performance IMHO was Michael Fassbender who stole every scene he was in.

I have a love/hate relationship with Guy Ritchie. When I love him, it’s serious, but when he flops it’s painful.

I’m excited about this film because of the return to his “roots” which he does so well. Thandie did say it was going to be a departure for Ritchie though, so I’m praying for a positive departure.

OK, OK, I admit it. I’m 58 years old, and yes, even I get a little weak in the knees when I see young Mr. Butler’s beautiful green eyes on the screen. (Not to mention the rest, but didn’t want to sound like an old ‘perv’) Oh heck, YES I DID!

One day you will be older and then you’ll see that love has nothing to do with aging. I love Gerry today the same way I loved Elvis Presley when I was young. That’s it… Má

Gerard butler is more interesting than any of the characters he’s ever played. I watched wondercon for 300 and laughed for an hour straight. It was then that I decided the man should do comedy. And what the hell, he’s beautiful. Gerard bash all you want but the man is the closest thing we’ve got to a Clark Gabe or Elvis. By the way I’m a happily married thirty eight year old. Women are so excited about him because finally there is a rugged and handsome and smart(went to law school, president of the law society), and funny, and nice and he loves his mum, and he’s a litle bit of a bad boy, for us to appreciate. Personally I’m sick of metrosexuals. Since when have women not loved these sort of attributes in any man. Women will fall for an unatractive man if he is sweet, and kind, and smart, and funny. Just imagine what happens when he looks like Gerry. So yes I love him but what’s not to love?

I think it just goes to show that “Comment” section of the Extra website is NOT the place to have serious, thoughtful, intelligent conversations about movies! I find Gerry a good actor. Fine. But do we REALLY have to turn this site into a drool fest? I mean isn’t that what FAN sites are for? I think it just gets annoying. Or maybe its just Gerry Butler’s fans who are taking an interest in this film. Maybe others around the world could care less.
Sure we know Gerry has fans, but mercy sometimes you just want to read some posts from people who actually have some sort of interest in the film as a whole, all its components instead of singling out just one person of the film. Thandie Newton is also in this film did anyone know that? This woman is a phenomenal actress and i’m sure she’ll make Gerry step up his game. He can only learn from her. Oh wait.. so is Idris Elba! WOW… imagine that. I don’t mind people drooling over Gerry Butler, but please can we talk of something else? Like maybe RocknRolla…or maybe how Gerry will make this movie a bomb, or even maybe Guy Ritchie and what we are expecting from the movie, and not just if Gerry is going to get naked as usual. I mean sure he has a nice body, but i’m sure he has some other marketable talent than just shaking his groove thing and stripping down to his 16 pecs or whatever.
And no, for any who might wonder, I’m not jealous. Good grief. I just want some real film talk! Not teen bopper magazine! Or even worse, descending into a pack of grade 11 high school girls(I mean pre and post menopausal, unhappily married middle aged women) who can only focus on the hottie quarterback of their youth on the football team and ignore all the other team players that also make the game happen.
I hate how the US has made film into a very individualist thing and forgotten the team!
And YES dammit i’m an American.
Dana

I’m sure i’ll get ripped for this one. LMAO
And yes, I know that “if you don’t like whats posted here, then just leave” i’m taking my/your suggestion as I type thank you.

GO GERRY! (lol)

I never knew what I was missing till I seen Gerard Butler, now it’s hard to watch a movie if he’s not in it.

I am so anxious to see this latest Guy Ritchie film. So glad that Gerard Butler is signed on along with the other great cast members. I wish some people wouldn’t be so negative about the comments made in support of Gerard Butler. They are not meant to take anything away from Guy Ritchie;I think his talent can stand on its own. Gerry is a very fine actor who treats his fans with respect, as they do him. I’d bet there are many actors who would love to have the supportive fans that Gerry does. I wish Guy the best of luck with this film; his success will mean more success for Gerry too. We all win!
