Elisabeth Hasselbeck Wants Whoopi for 'The View'

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is endorsing Whoopi Goldberg as her new co-host on “The View.”
"I loved working with Whoopi Goldberg,” a pregnant Elisabeth told People. "She is soulful, has a world of experience to bring to the table, and I don't sense any sort of political agenda. She is so funny, but at the same time, she is one of the most thoughtful people that I've met."
Asked if Barbara Walters is also endorsing Whoopi for the job, Elisabeth said, "You'd have to ask Barbara. But I'm sure she is. Who isn't into Whoopi? She's an amazing person."
“The View” is currently looking for two hosts to fill Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones’ seat. Other contenders include Sherri Shepherd and Kathy Griffin.
An announcement should be coming any day about who will take the coveted seat – Barbara said she would have her pick by the end of July.
Who do you think should be the new co-host? Sound off here.

Ok, the ridiculous comment by Wendy does not get any agreement. I tried to click disagree! But since I could not have out there in the Universe people thinking someone someone agrees with her/HIS anti-woman comment, I have to post here. I have never watched this show, and only know of it by the many controversies to grace the news these past couple of years or so. Now that Whoopi will be on it, I might actually catch it. I cannot believe that this Wendy is a woman and would make such a degrading comment about another woman? Whoopi is one of the most unafraid, sociopolitical astute entertainers out there who actually does not allow her silence to be bought by endorsers, nor will she wastes viewers time engaged in embarrassing public fights over non-issues. She is not only funny, but she brings a fresh and REAL perspective to any issue. I see Wendy, like many men, would put looks over substance. Young Girls all across the world need to read/hear crap like this, eh? Or is it “looker.” Did you say this about O’Donnell or any of the other women?
