What a surprise that their is another Thomas Therrell out there! I live in S.C. and i am no relation to the other Thomas Therrell or Mike Therrell. I love you, Tammy Faye. I want you to know these aren’t just words, even though I don’t personally know you. You have touched my life and encouraged me. You are such a warm, bubbly person and when I think of you I think of what a Godly, loving, accepting person you are. I see Jesus in you, and I believe you treat and love people the way Jesus would treat and love people if he were here. I remember seeing you singing on t.v. when I was just a kid, and more recently I have seen you on Surreal Life. You really touched my heart and life when I saw you on the show! I think and speak about your love toward others often.You have such LOVE and COMPASSION for others; I always think of this when I think of you, which is often. I really wish that we knew each other personally and that you were my friend and I could talk to you. I guess that is just a little selfish because I just know you would make me feel better every time I spoke with you. I have 3 chronic illnesses: chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and environmental illness/multiple chemical sensitivity which I believe was caused by toxic mold exposure. After teaching 10 years I am now totally disabled and broke, unable to pay for any further medical treatment and I do feel very isolated at times; and that my own family and many other people think I should just “snap out of it” or that I am “being ridiculous” is quite hurtful (mind you I spent tens of thousands of dollars to get diagnosis and treatment before the money ran out). But you have inspired me to put my trust in God and I know that you would be touched by my story. You would love me and be supportive. God bless you! I truly love you, Tammy Faye! I will continue praying for you as you keep up the fight! You are a true gift to the world, and the world is a better place because of you. I really hope you are seeking the best medical treatments. There are some quacks out there, so be careful. I do wonder if a diet called the macrobiotic diet could help you because I have heard of others with cancer recovering from seemingly incurable cancer. I read about the diet in a book by Sherry Rogers. My prayers are with you! :-)

You are such an inspiration to me, I have gained more appreciation of life and God and now live my life as if it were my last.

I love her, even though I am not a church goer, I always stopped on her old programs, just to listen to her. I have followed her over the years and I am very moved by her spirit and her fight.
