I think that the new host for the ‘price is right’ should be todd newton from the gameshow whammy ! He would be the perfect host for the ‘price is right’ cause he has the people skills and he is a great host on whammy ‘the all new press your luck’ ! If anyone has not seen whammy , it is on gsn ! saturday mornings at 12:00 in the afternoon !

Please not rosie. the show would not last a week. of course no body but no body can or will never take bob’s place i am going to really miss him the show will never be qite the same. but i think chuck wollery would be great for the show he is a fantastic host.

Yes, you’re correct. I attempted to correct the statement, RE: Drew Carey’s “problem”. Drew ought to thin a bit, or he (not we) won’t be around to enjoy the following that Bob Barker had. Maybe Drew just wears fat pads, to throw people off. Drew…? Thanks again, Mr. Barker. At least now, the great grandkids will have you around more often. 24 July 2007: Yesterday, I heard the new “Price Is Right” m.c. will be Drew Carey. If so, he’d be very good, but he’d better start watching his weight, or we won’t be around long enough to create the following that Bob Barker enjoyed. Kind of wonder if Mr. Barker is enjoying the re-runs, now that he’s retired. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s sitting home bored. From the Navy in WW2, to the game shows he emceed over the years, what’s an active fellow to do? From the Iron Range country, of northeast Minnesota, I thank you. A ton of orchids to you and yours, Mr. Robert Barker, and thanks to you, all these years! You are missed!

Mark Walberg has been a favorite game show host of mine for many years. He has the ability to capture the audience with his marble eyes and incredible appearance across the board. I will only watch TPIR if Mark Walberg becomes host. The rest of the “competition” doesn’t do it for me.

The star or emcee of this show has to be someone who follows the sexy, entising, and versitile manner of bob. Drew Carey, are you kidding me. Fat, offensive, and certainly NOT sexy. You need another bob Barker. Two people fit that bill — Mario Lopez and best choice Joey Fontone. Showmanship, sexy, a definitely another bob. Give me a break, Rosie????? Drew???? Get a life

Does anybody remember the Mike and Maddy show. It was on daytime in the late 80’s or early 90’s. I use to watch it and think Mike Hamberger would make a great host when Bob leaves.

Call Mark Wahlberg to replace Bob. No not the one that played in “Rock Star” movie the one from the Antique Road Show.

He was the host of the Louisiana Downs scaled downed “Price is Right” and he already knows the games and was a fantastic energetic host.

Couldnt ask for a nicer guy!!!!!

Please dont get Drew Carey or Rosie!!! Ugh

I think they should pull the show- it had a long run- I don’t think ANYONE can take BB’s place-
I think that most of you are flipped out about Rosie because she’s
1. a lesbian
2. an outspoken lesbian

but honestly, the show has been on for years- it’s boring- why not just retire it with Bob.
