I agree with most everyone who has posted. I don’t care if Kristy threw the first punch, she was probably giving the ex-wife dirty looks and deserved to get her just reward. Maybe women will learn from this particular event that it’s not okay to take a pregnant woman’s man.

Right, lets do this simply. Canadian law differs greatly from American law in-so-far-as the acceptable methods of pressings charges, and/or counter charges, against any individual. In the states, when the police are called to the scene of an incident, the individuals involved in said incident are the ones who then ultimately decide whether or not they will press charges against the party they were fueding with. The defendant has the same rights, insofaras they can counter-claim, and press charges against the plaintiff. In Canada, however, we don’t much care for all that bullspit, and as such, we’ve gone right ahead and removed the middle man.

You see, if police are called to the scene of an incident, the POLICE AND THE POLICE ALONE decide who will be charged with what. The individual charged by police does have the opportunity to speak to the charges when at the police station being processed, however, this is done by having the defendant write their version of events into a proper statement which the police then review. If it is somehow proven beyond reasonable doubt that the plaintiff acted in an unlawful fashion, the police will revisit the matter and lay further charges as warranted. That said, in a case such as this, 99.9% of the time, the individual charged at the scene of a domestic disturbance remains the ONLY INDIVIDUAL charged. Kristy Swanson attempting to spin doctor this into an attack on her by Marcia, is simply evidencing her complete and utter lack of both morality and basic common sense.

If you cheat, you will lie, and we all know Kristi is a cheat and homewrecker, so come on is it any doubt that she and that low life boyfriend would lie. I mean come on this man left his 8 month pregnant wife. These two deserve each other.

I think the ex should just leave the couple alone. He is an ex now. I didn’t see much of a black eye. If Kristy was wearing that ring at the time, her face would of been cut. Kristy’s finger wouldn’t be feeling all that well either.
