Even though Bob Barker is giving his thumbs up to Rosie O’Donnell to take over as host of “The Price is Right,” Rosie admitted that she may not be right for the show.

In her video blog, Rosie said she “sure would” take the job if it was offered to her, but she has some doubts about whether or not it will actually happen.

"Frankly, having to talk to real people would be better than having to talk to celebrities, so it would be good for me,” Rosie said. “But I don't know if it's right for them."

There are a lot of bumps in the road to Rosie saying “Come on down!”

On Friday, Barker said, “There's no doubt in my mind she could do the show. Now, whether they want a lady host, I don't know."

Rosie, who lives on the East Coast, also said she won’t relocate to Hollywood, where “Price” tapes.

But the decision could be settled as early as tomorrow – she’s set to meet with the show’s producers in L.A. It will be the first time all parties will be in the same room, talking it over.

I love Rosie. I think she’s better off on a talk show than a game show but she’d do well with both.

I understand people don’t like her. If I hadn’t read a newspaper in years and didn’t understand world events, I might think she was just angry. Since I know that Bush has done irreversable harm to our country and our relationships around the world, I know Rosie is one of the few who has the guts to stand up for what is right.

Way too many people don’t understand what’s going on and therefore son’t understand what Rosie is saying.

I think she not only increased the ratings on the View, she educated a segment of the population who needed to hear how terrible the Bush administration has been.

I just wonder why everyone is so jealous of Rosie, they can’t even think straight. Rosie would do GREAT on The Price Is Right, or anything else she chooses to do. I don’t mind what she does, as long as she is on everyday so we can enjoy her! Keep up the GREAT WORK ROSIE!!

I agree with most of the comments….TPIR will go off the air quickly, if Rosie hosted the show!
So I hope CBS will re-consider and not offically offer her the job. I know that my family, friends and I will never watch TPIR again either.

My comment is the same as John Wilde, 6/22/07. I’ve watched the Price is Right almost the entire period the show was on the air. If Rosie should happen to get the job, I WILL NEVER WATCH IT AGAIN. I just don’t like her. That would be a let down for the show. I think the show would go down the tubes.

Rosie is a hateful person these days. Don’t know if ‘coming out’ set well with the women. She seems to think the world hates her. So she hates the world. I like the old loving Rosie best. Let it go Rosie. We love and care for you. I love her laugh. She’s a very fun person, when she’s ‘up’. Would Rosie be good for the PRICE IS RIGHT.

I think they should hire her if they want the legendary show to be over! Otherwise, she is not cut out for a good family show such as this. She has too many issues with herself and she seems to take it out on everyone around her. I hate it for her, I used to like her but she gripes and complains way too much now. She is not someone I care to watch anymore.

Rosie can host only a pig fight. I don’t think she has the ability nor the personality to host a game show like tpir. Rosie proved what kind of rude and obnoxious gay reputation she had when she was on the “View” and then
attacked Donald Trump with those ridiculous mark. What female is going to walk up on the stage and give her a kiss; only one of her kind. Get a kind gentleman with a personality similar to Bob Barker’s so the “LADIES” can continue to smooch and feel comfortable.
