Paris Reports to Jail

Paris Hilton has reported to jail to begin her 23 day sentence.

Last night she entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood after partying at the MTV Movie Awards.

In a statement released by her lawyer, Hilton said, "I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.

"This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence."

I do agree as well as the others posted here. The so called celeBRATy (and it really makes me wonder…why?) should do her time and do it all. Like the others, if we were to do this crime, we would be doing way more than 45 days. You do the crime, you pay the time!!!! That should be for everyone!! I really really want to know, what in the world did Paris do to make herself so famous? Not a darn thing! Get a real job honey, McDonalds is always hiring and see what the real world deals with! Don’t you see, as like above, these girls see you as their idols? Show them how a real idol acts then! And girls out there…don’t think going to jail is an great thing….WORKING FOR A LIVING IS THE GREATEST Thing anyone can do for themselves!

I think it’s good that she’s admitting to being out of control. I do feel bad for her that she has to go through this. I hope that this sentence will help her to see that things need to change. Good Luck Paris!

Paris is a wild child and deserves eveything she gets. When your family is rich I guess you can do just about anything and get away with it. She is probably going to still be living like a BOURGOIS PRINCESS. Her Lindsey and Nicole are all addicts.

i am personally a big fan of Paris Hilton. i just want to add that i think its cool that she has time to spent in jail. i think that such an experiece will only contribute to her image of being a role model

I have to agree, celebs are shown favortism and get away with crap we would pay dearly for. Wake up society, treat everybody equal and quit butt kissing these spoiled individuals, it’s really sickening. And to Paris Hilton, and other spoiled brats do your time and for heaven sakes, learn something from your unresponsible behavior and disreagard for the lives of those who might cross your path during one of your nights out!! What does a wakeup call take? This comment is not just for Paris but for all you holier than thou “members” of society who have no consideration for other life when you get behind that wheel - get off the self adoration road girls, you are headed for heartbreak and probably not your own.

Paris needs to suck it up, because if it was me or any other person who doesn’t have money like her we would be doin way more than 23 day. But since she does have money she won’t even do her whole sentence.

My advice to Paris Hilton? GROW UP! How in the world can people even suggest she is a role model for youth? PLease, spare me the bs. These young so-called “actresses” “celeBRATies” are nothing more than girls gone wild with designer names. They have been handed a career and stardom on a silver platter and they don’t have the brains to be appreciative enough to do something positive with it. Their parents are nothing more than enablers for their bad behavior. Why don’t we see more reporting on deserving people? Paris, Lindsay, Brittany, and all the others - - - take a look around - - -there are many fine examples of truly gifted actresses that did not have to resort to your antics to become stars. Ask yourself the next time you feel like making a fool of yourself - - - What would Meryl (Streep) do?
