Paris Reports to Jail

Paris Hilton has reported to jail to begin her 23 day sentence.

Last night she entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood after partying at the MTV Movie Awards.

In a statement released by her lawyer, Hilton said, "I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.

"This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence."

Well, I thought I had seen it all before — some of the comments here really make me wonder about our society. Granted, I’m sure Paris was born a nice innocent girl, aren’t we all born innocent? But some of your comments seem to condone her behavior, every body deserves a second chance, true but how many chances does it take for she and her co-habiters are “awarded” before they take someone’s life while they are having the time of theirs in their partying frenzies???? For gawd sakes, take a bloody cab, not like they can’t afford it. As for being role models, not anyone I would want my daughter to look up to or to associate with. Yes, I was young once and have made mistakes but shouldn’t you learn from the first one, when other lives are involved. Her mother being in court heckling the judge — ha! what a role model, no wonder the poor girl is a mess. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Paris but enough is enough, she is the one who needs a role model to look up to, don’t think she’s learning any virtures at home— poor little rich girl, so rich in money but poor in the real values of life. I honestly hope she will learn from this embarrassing life experience and then perhaps she can be a true role model to young society instead of the poor example she has set so far. Her mother deserves a good kick in the “a”. So sad for Paris to have grown up with this influence but she is now an adult and can make her own decisions, come on Paris, aren’t you better than this?

Well this is all i have to say about Paris.”Please don’t ruin your parents name I bet they work hard to be where they are right now.especially to give you ALL YOU HAVE TOO.” So learn from your mistakes and stay with the Lord he will guide you the right way. Always pray. Partying is all good and fun. But everything we do has a limit even the friends we choice. Paris GOD BLESS YOU!!!! Don’t abuse what your parents were able to give you. Most of us have to study, and work hard to have what you have easy. Love your parents and hug and kiss them everytime you get a time. One day they won’t be here and It will be to late for any thank yous. Be smart with all you have and all you do!!! Many wishes for you.

I read that she partied till the end! So, she is talking the talk but obviously not walking the walk! I think she made the comment that she had learned something in hopes that she would not have to go to jail. She also stated that she is not above the law, well, she finally realized that now that they are truly making her go to jail. I think that she is an over-rated rich girl that has really done nothing but make controversial stories for the news to report on. All she is doing is making a fool of herself and her families name. I think that if the tabloids would stop writing about her, she would just go away. It is not like her album was a hit or anything. Overall, I just think she is trash with money! Putting her in jail with all the other criminals would be the BEST punishment for her, not the royal treatment!

She says she has done some thinking the last few weeks and wants to accept responsibility for her actions. She also said this was a life changing moment and that she is not above the law and only hopes she is treated fairly. What remains to be seen is what her actions will be when she is released from jail. She is talking the talk but will she walk the walk? Will she be the new and improved and sensitive and compassionate Paris or will she go back to be her idea of a cool Paris like before. We’ll see…It’s all up to her.

I pains me to read that jacie Wenzel sees Paris of all people as a role model or someone to idolize. Darling what on earth has this women done really. People you should admire are those who have contributed to soceity in some way Paris was born rich, goes on the Simpletons and all of a sudden you “like her?” I do not understand the young girls today if that is who they are looking up to we are in a lot of trouble. Look to others besides celebrities they are just people who happen to become famous because the media has made them such. She really became well known after the sex tape wow now thats really something your parents can be proud of and play at your 50th birthday bash or party of your lifetime contribution. Please young lady read a book not the rags for a role model trust me when you get to be around 30 you will see that Paris is not someone to emulate or look up to. American tv has to change or this country will go to shit.

i dont think it is anyones place to judge her. everyone has made mistakes and just because she has money doesn’t mean that she doesnt have troubles of her own. its no ones position to place judgement upon her and wish bad things for her just because she has money. being born into a weathly family was her fate, she didn’t choose it. i hope that she has learned from her mistakes, as we all do, and moves on. i wish her the best.

I remember being that age and I can remember everyone else around me at that age. Oh Boy! I don’t think anyone can or should throw rocks here.

Paris is spoiled and acts spoiled so that is what everyone is loving about her sentence. Hopefully she won’t want the kind of attention she has asked for anymore. Example that commercial (puke) and the rest (puke)

I hope she prays to be a better person especially since she was born into so much money. She doesn’t know what it is like to struggle day in and out like most of us do… yet, I am not the one that should say what she should be doing. Only Paris can.

Hey, they let child abusers out for all kinds of things .. she is paying the price for breaking the rules…
she will learn her lesson… I think maany of us who did stupid stuff at that age .. and if any of us had that kind of money and life … may have done something HORRIFIC like break a probation and drive to the hamburger place without a liscense. I can tell you if you think about it … YOU probably have broken the law .. driven with an expired liscense … no insurance proof in the glove box …
laws are for everyone … and you pay if you break them … but some people just like to see other people they are jealous over suffer… it’s too bad.
Paris has lived a life of priveledge for sure .. and hasn’t gotten too much of taste of the real world… but she at least works… not necessarily earth changing work … but she could be doing nothing and I have always admired her for being a pretty good little business person .. until she let someone handle this probabtion deal. I’m glad she is going to serve her time … it will make her grow up and be a better person… I don’t think she will go the route of the Hollywood screw ups… I think she will come out with even more fans…
these people have to be kidding when they hear of reduced sentences .. they would be shocked at REAL criminals that get out early … give me a break.

Wow! A reduced sentence and time off for good behavior. When has this occured? It’s a sad commentary on our justice system when MONEY can buy your freedom. I’m tired of seeing these so called celebraties given a pass everytime they break the law. Disobedience seems to be Paris’ problem. If I or any of you reading this disregarded the direct word of a judge I can almost guarantee that the fullest letter of the law would have been carried out with no grace or mercy granted. Just because your last name is HILTON, doesn’t mean you get a free pass on life. I hope while you are behind bars you will do some serious soul searching and really take a long look at the person you have become. You like to break the rules and mock authority. Learn from your mistakes and try not to turn this episode of your life into a publicity stunt.

Paris,

I hope you take your mother advice and think while you are there. You have too much going for you to just not care. People wants to see you do bad prove them wrong, come back better than ever. My heart hurts for you. I wish you could sometimes see what others see in you. You are a DIVA born to be a super star.

Be what you were created to do and that is to make a difference in someone’s life for the better.

I’ll be praying for you.
