Paris Hilton Interview Cancelled -- Do You Think It Was the Right Move?

The final countdown to freedom is on for Paris Hilton.

This is the last weekend before the jailbird flies the coop, and “Extra” has what could be the socialite’s last interview from the slammer.

Paris called Ryan Seacrest yesterday and told all about her time in jail.

She said she’s been behind bulletproof glass, and feels like a criminal!

But the worst part, she said, was seeing dad Rick on Father’s Day and not being able to reach out because of the thick glass wall that separated them!

Now “Extra” has the all-new interview with Paris’ parents, who can’t wait for their daughter to come home.

“We’re counting,” Kathy Hilton said.

And so is Paris!

She told Ryan, “I’m much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night, or food.”

As if the heiress didn’t have everything already, she might have a few more nice things to appreciate.

While NBC is denying reports they offered Paris a million dollars for the first post-pokey interview, ABC reportedly offered the Hilton family $100,000.

Even though it was thought that the “Today” show’s Meredith Vieira would score the sit-down, there are reports now that the whole thing has been called off, and it's unknown just who Paris will speak with first.

Today, Rosie O’Donnell is blasting the report on her blog, saying, “Paying for interviews. Sad thing for a news division.”

So do you think it was the right decision to nix Paris' million dollar interview? Post your comments here!

I just read most of the comments made
mostly against Paris Hilton.
Looks like I stand alone on my opinion.
I beleive in the sayin “Live & let live”.
She’s basically a good person & never
would want to hurt anyone.
Let her live her life,
No one is perfect, & I wonder how most
young people or even older would conduct
themselves if they were born into a
wealthy family. I think everyone should just leave her alone. Give her
a break Hopefully she will be a more
responsible person & think first before
she acts.

She said “being in jail made her feel like a criminal”. Duh, why does she think she is in jail? With such enlightened comments why would anyone waste time listening to anything she has to say…………?!?!
This comment only verifies that PH has S_ _T for Brains, and everytime she opens her mouth, her Brains Fall Out …….. Truly the epitemy of BLONDE BIMBO!!!!! Every mans intelligent dream woman………….
AMERICA HAS REALLY HAD ENOUGH FROM ALL MEDIA, OF EVERY CONCEIVABLE KIND ……. RAMMING DOWN OUR THROATS & CHOKING US TO DEATH WITH THE PARIS HILTON’S, LINDSEY LOHAN’S, BRITTANY SPEARS’, NICOLE RICHIES……….THAT WE SHOULD ALL BOYCOTT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THIS JOURNALISM REPORTING OF THESE INDIVIDUALS …… AS THEY OFFER NOT ONE PARTICLE OF INFORMATION, EDUCATION OR NEWS WORTHY REPORTING …..
AND, YES THE PARENTS SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR THE WAY THEY BROUGHT UP THEIR OUT-OF-CONTROL CHILDREN…..STATISTICS PROVE THAT THE ENVIRONMENT THAT ADOLESCENTS ARE RAISED IN … IS IN PART, A FAIR ASSUMPTION AND CONTRIBUTING FACTOR AS TO HOW THEY TURN OUT AS ADULTS………GRAMPA HILTON HAS PROBABLY ROLLED OVER IN HIS GRAVE, SEVERAL TIMES AT LEAST, TO SEE THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR & EXHIBITION OF A VERY OLD SCHOOL CONSERVATIVE AND CONVENTIONAL FAMILY .. TARNISHED & BLEMISHED FOREVER……..BY ONE INCONSIDERATE/SELF-ABSORBED, CONCEITED, EGO-MANICAL BLONDE IDIOT!!!!
OH MY GOD, WHO’S RUNNING THE HOTELS????

WHHHHHYYYYYYYY???? An interview only validates this waste of a human being’s inappropriate, irresponsible and reprehensible behavior. What is the facination with a pampered, spoiled, vapid rich kid who comes off as the biggest airhead that consistently and constantly validates the label of ‘dumb blond’? What the hell has she done to help anyone but herself? Why do people adore and honor her as some kind of super celebrity? All I ever see if this superficial, insecure, flamboyant. arrogant, slutty rich kid who parties all of the time, gets drunk and then has the stupidity and audacity to DRIVE her car! She deserved to go to jail and should have done the whole sentence - not just part of it. I am sick to death of these rich brats going around like the laws do not apply to them and they can do whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it! And trhe most disgusting thing is . . the media (television/radio news, magazines and newspapers) then give then all of the attention they could ever want and then some to promote & encourage this disgusting behavior making it something far too many young people should emulate! Is this the kind of kid anyone wants to have? GROW UP!

I am so sick seeing or hearing the name Pair, Hilton.

If I was the cop and then the judge in her case would have locked her in the general population and make her share a cell with another women with the same charges.

Just because of all the money her family has the LA POLICE, SHERIFF, DA AND COURT syestem would worry about their jobs.

Let her be in a middle or lower class of person then we 1 not hear about the problem and 2 be in jail.

All I can say money talk no mater where in the country and all that use that to get then out of problems should be given a bigger fine and a longer stay in way.

Why on earth would any news station pay Paris Hilton a million dollars for her interview. To hear what exactly? She was not put in general population. So what if they kept her behind a bullet proof glass. At least she was safe.

Here’s a novel idea, Paris should donate 1 million dollars to a homeless shelter or some other non-profit organization that helps people to tell her story! Its not like she can’t afford it.

I cant understand what the big deal about paris is, she hasnt done anything or even made the money she has herself. i think she got what she deserved and maybe now she will think twice before getting behind the wheel of a car drunk!!!!! I dont belive the reports of her saying she has changed, give her 2 days out of jail and she will be the same old person.

Paris would be little miss nobody if it weren’t for money that she did not even earn, neither did her father. Interview a homeless person, soliders coming home, retired people who struggle everyday just to live within the law. Rich people think the rest of us owe them something. Leave her in jail and add some of the other spoiled brats, throw the key away. Lets move on and forget her, she won’t change .

Why are people so concerned with Paris Hilton? I’m pretty sure when you or anybody else in America gets in trouble she won’t be the first person standing up for your rights. One must question thy self and ask would she do the same for me…the answer is hell no..she doesn’t know you and doesn’t care..so why the hell would you care so much about her.

I personally don’t see why there are so many star basher’s when one gets in trouble! If you don’t like when one gets into trouble, WHY do you respond on these :comment sites?” I personally feel that the judge was unfair with the amount of time that he gave Paris if indeed his ex done the same thing as Paris and she only walked with merely a slap on the hand!!!! As all of you bloggers know, there is always more to the story then is said. I just hope that Paris is true to her words once she is released. She needs to be more responsible in general. Also, it appears that whenever a person is incarcerated, they all seem to find GOD! HMMMMM

paris hilton doesn’t realize that one can’t instantly change one’s ways at the drop of a hat after just 23 days in jail; it’s not possible in the real world, but unfortunately, in her own twisted little heiress world, she seems to think she’s changed for the better(yeah, right).
Where did she learn that from? Her parents?
I’ve heard that lie before after she supposedly said she was abstaining from sex.Right.
I’m not getting my hopes up about paris hilton being a changed woman at all.
I still find it extremely inexcusable that she was a spoiled brat crybaby when she had to go back to jail, and I honestly can’t forgive her for that behavior.

She’s a jerk ,if not for her family wealth she won’t be so YA YA PAPAYA.She should be in jail more longer and she’s such a unreasonable, unbearable so many UNS don’t know how to describe. She should be more humble,so what if you’re so rich not what she earns. Why must they pay for the interview? Why can’t they donate the money to the poor at least you save their life and they will always remember you and say Thank You. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE PARIS HILTON?

i cant stand her. she may be nice in person but the image she puts out is lower class trash. what sort of rolemodel is she to all her fans out there. just cause you have money you are not above the law.

Anyone who would pay for a soon-to-be ex con for an interview must be out of their minds!! She had better lay low for awhile and out of the public eye for her own safety. (that is not a threat, just a cautionary word of advice for her own safety.) It’s not like I care one way or the other.

If Paris wants to gain a more positive outlook to her situation, she should take any money she stands to make from all of this and donate to a worthy cause. One cause i can think of is M.A.D.D. Mother’s against drunk driver’s.I really hope Paris learned her lesson and that it dosen’t matter who you are.If you do the crime you do the time.
Kindest regards.
