Lindsay Lohan to Extend Her Stay at Promises?

The Hollywood club scene hasn't been the same since party girl Lindsay Lohan checked herself into Promises rehab center in Malibu last month.

But now is she asking to stay longer?

Yes! Lindsay's mom Dina told People magazine that Lohan requested to do an extended care program.

Dina said the family will come to LA to celebrate Lindsay’s 21st birthday next week, although the party will not be at Promises.

One person not invited, however, is Lindsay’s estranged father, Michael Lohan.

Lindsay, Somehow I hope you get a chance to read our words of inspiration. Your body is your very own blessed temple. Treat it as such.Recovery, I believe is God’s way of reaching out to you. I too have been in recovery a few times, and been clean and sober since November 2003. I remember reading a saying in recovery “It takes the sun and the rain to create a rainbow” I painted it on a rock while in recovery, and trust me, I look at that rock quite often. Be true to yourself!!!ONE DAY AT A TIME(I still keep my 1st 24 hour chip, because that was the hardest) My thoughts are with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I heard about this I thought to myself, WAY TO GO LINDSAY! It takes alot of courage for her to admit to herself that she needs to stay longer. Hopefully it will be the only time she will have to go to rehab.
