Katharine McPhee has been riding the roller coaster of fame after her second place finish in "American Idol's" fifth season, but she hasn't crashed and burned like some other stars her age.
Kat sat down with our Carlos Diaz in Las Vegas for a Vegas Magazine celebration, which featured McPhee on the cover.

Kat really seems to have a good head on her shoulders, especially for someone her age and in her industry. Kudos to her for avoiding drugs and excessive partying.
