Is the World's Most Famous Jailbird Flying the Coop?

Despite being transferred back to the original cell where she started her sentence, there’s buzz circulating that Paris Hilton could be set free this weekend!

If that were the case, Paris would definitely not be finishing out the 23-day sentence the judge handed down.

But L.A. Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore is putting the brakes on that rumor, saying reports that the jailbird will fly the coop are simply not true.

The hotel heiress will, in fact, serve out her 23 days – and will be a free woman on June 25.

“She just wants to do her time and get on,” said Paris’ mom Kathy.

Once she gets out of jail, Hilton is reportedly going to throw a major party, Paris-style!

Word is the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino of Las Vegas is planning to fly Paris – by private jet – to Sin City and pay her thousands to host the party!

If she does agree to host, she’ll pull in a whopping $800,000.

But the Hard Rock says the party’s not happening and blames rival promoters for leaking a false story.

Now a new report is blowing the lid off of accusations that Paris has received preferential treatment as an inmate.

The Los Angeles Times just investigated the normal sentence for parole violators and found that Paris is most definitely spending more time in the pokey than most.

The Times found that a majority of offenders serve only four days in jail!

I agree with Sarah. It’s time that we change our entertainment choices. People are tired of looking at drunkards and drug addicts, murders and women who get kicks from showing their private parts. Come on America get over it every body has one. What has happened to television? Where are the movies that people can go to sleep at night and have dreams not nightmares. Thoughts of hope and victory rather than fear and failure. You are so right Sarah where are the class acts. I saw a show that was so inspiring on yahoo: go to Britains Got Talent and watch Paul Stotts sing the most beautiful song. Simon of American Idol is one of the judges. This man’s voice brought people including the judges to tears, Simon was awestruck. Paul is a very humble, simple, mobile phone salesman who wants to sing and I’m telling you he is worth watching the entire audience was standing up for this man. Awesome. That’s the kind of television we need to see. People who cares about people, people who want to succeed, people who want to be an inspiration and raise our standard of living. Who cares about Paris choice to model pretty clothes and still be ugly on the inside, britney’s choice to not wear underclothes. Stop giving these people so much attention.
What have we come to? Oh by the way the reason I came to website is to share views like this in the hopes that I will give people who eat, sleep and breathe this kind of entertainment more to think about besides, “Trash”.

Early Release is in place for overcrowing reasons. There IS overcrowding in the General Population, thus Early Release. There is NO overcrowding in Paris Hiltons area of Jail. She is NOT in General.AND, overcrowding is NOT why she was reassigned, remember, it was a “medical issue”.

The Sheriff and D.A announced in partnership November 2006 that “all County Inmates” will serve a minimum of 25% of their time effective, end of 2006. This is available on the D.A.’s website, google it.

So, we complain about Inmates NOT doing their time and want to end Early Release Programs, and say NO more favortisim to ANYONE, yet,because one person, the D.A.’s Wife got a unfair break, Paris should , too?

Research results can be presented in a bias manner. If low income minorities figures were made available they would show that she indeed is not serving more time than other for the same offense.

Between being sent home and staying in the medical facilitiy after coming back, she still has truly only been in jail for 3 nights.

I hope she becomes a better role model for her own good. Maybe if her behavior changes, Linsay and Britney would think twice before throwing their privilege lives away.

I certainly hope that all of the media attention dies down over this person SOON. She has NO talent, she is a spoiled rotten brat, and she is a terrible role model for our teens. Money means absolutely nothing when it comes to being a good person. We should focus our attention on people who try to improve lives and act in an admirable way each day, I suppose that isn’t very exciting tho’.

Old Hollywood used to be full of class acts that actually had talent, socialites never pretended to have talent, but at least you knew they had impeccable breeding. Paris Hilton’s parents should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. They may have money, however I have more class in my pinky finger than the entire Hilton clan.
