Paris Hilton to Co-host 'The View?'

Since Rosie O’Donnell left “The View” a few weeks ago, network honchos and fans have been weighing in on who should replace her.

Now here’s an idea – Paris Hilton!

Apparently, it could become a reality if Barbara Walters has her way.

This morning on Barbara’s radio show “Barbara Live,” the veteran journalist took a question from a listener who asked if Paris would ever be allowed to co-host the show.

“She would certainly always give us something to talk about,” Barbara responded.

But “The View’s” Executive Producer Bill Geddie, who was sitting with Barbara during the call, quickly interjected.

“Let me answer that,” he insisted. “No.”

Barbara shot back, “Let me answer that: Yes.”

Would you watch Paris on “The View?” Leave us your comments!

I have never written to anyone about celebrities. But I watch the View religiously because of the educated and witty women who are on this program. I love seeing Barbara and Joy and even Elizabeth sometimes but please don’t have Paris Hilton on the View. Because I am a mother and a grandmother I cannot understand people who drink and drive. The next time she drinks and drives it could be my child or grandchild on the street.

Why does it have to be a celebrity. Let’s bring the show back to the people and fill one of the seats with an unknown. Like Me! Google me to find out why.

In my opinion the only person who could
replace “Rosie loud-mouth O’Donnell”
with class, knowledge, maturity and wit
is Whoopee Goldberg.
Not too much ruffles this ladies feathers and she certainly knows what to
say, when and how to say it diplomatically but still getting her
opinion across.
Lets not jump from the “frying pan into
the fire” with a young, immature nothing
who can’t get over herself and is sure
to continue with her old ways because
of course she knows nothing else.
“Paris Hilton” not in my life time I
hope!!!!!!!!

We don’t know Paris Hilton that well…have you ever heard of her biography or autobiography? WE DON’T KNOW HER…if she says that she is playing dumb, I believe that she has to prove herself…I wanna see her on “The View”. This may create millions…no..BILLIONS of hits…

Discriminators out there, don’t judge a book by its cover. A good actress may know how to direct her play…

If Paris Hilton gets on the View, the show is done!! She is only important because she has money and a good publicist. She is not talented, smart, a good role model. She is a spoiled little rich girl and it is time for her 15 minutes of fame to be up!! We need to stop talking about her. She is not important. Let her be done!!

IF MISS PARIS HILTON CO-HOSTS THE VIEW, EVERYONE WILL WATCH THE SHOW, AND I MEAN EVERYONE! THE GIRL HAS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL, AND AS I SAID, SHE WILL EVENTUALLY DO GOOD FOR SOCIETY WITH SPECIAL PROJECTS TO BETTER CONDITIONS FOR JAILS/PRISONS, ANIMALS AND PEOPLE IN THE USA. FOR THOSE WHO THINK THAT PARIS IS STUPID, THINK AGAIN. SHE IS WELL SPOKEN, HAS EVERYONE INTERESTED IN HER AND HAS A GOOD BUSINESS MIND. HER SONG WRITING AND VOICE ARE VERY MARKETABLE, SHE’S A VERY TALENTED MODEL AND HAS CHEMISTRY. SHE WON’T DO THE VIEW, HOWEVER, AS SHE HAS SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO DO AND OUTCLASSES THE VIEW. HOWEVER,IF SHE IS A GUEST ON THE VIEW, YOU KNOW DARN WELL EVERYONE WILL BE WATCHING OR RECORDING. HOW ABOUT AN INTERVIEW WITH BARABARA WALTERS? NBC HAS PARIS NOW, SO LET MS. WALTERS INTERVIEW THE ELEGANT, YOUNG WOMAN. AND TO THOSE WHOM ARE SO JEALOUS OF PARIS, WE ARE BORED TO TEARS ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE. PARIS MY DEARS, WILL NEVER BE BORING. GET USED TO IT. SHE’S FREE ON MONDAY! I’M HAPPY THAT SHE WILL BE FREE, FINALLY.I DON’T THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE A PARTY THROWN, BUT JUST QUIET TIME WITH HER FAMILY AND HER THOUGHTS, A GOOD THERAPIST FOR POST TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME AND SOME PEACE IN HER LIFE. SHE IS HUMAN, OR HAS ANYONE EVEN CONSIDERED THAT? START CONSIDERING THAT, OR DO SOME OF YOUR OWN SOUL SEARCHING. PARIS HILTON IS QUITE SPECIAL. HAVE YOU NEVER MADE A MISTAKE?

if paris hilton, after being released from jail ends up on the “view” tv as we know it has sunk to a new low. This imature 20 something needs to grow up and take responsibility for herself, infact alot of celebs need to take responsibility for themselves and quit blaming everyone else for their faults. i guess money can’t buy everything….. their all very SPOILED people, what a great way to raise a nation of children! unrespectful and disallusioned individuals.

Paris has nothing to offer anybody but depressed teens looking for someone to make them pregnate so they have someone to love them, the proff is the guy with the big dick she was so obviously in lust with, did you see her smile while she played with it, Paris needs to be just ignored and forgotten, just like rosie should be too

Let ME answer that question: Oh HELL NO! Someone test Barbara Walters, she must be over medicated!

Walters must have lost her damn mind. Paris Hilton barely has a highschool education, and obviously doesn’t disply the intelligence needed to have political discussion. I’d be surprised if she knew who the presidential candidates are.

Don’t give Rosieso much credit.People watched her because she was ridiculous.I would rather have positive attention.

Barbara, you must be absolutely nuts to even consider having Paris on the View. Joy will HAVE to take the day off if you do this because I really don’t think she is a big fan of this Bimbo. When Joy gets antsy and upset, you can see her tap her pen real hard on the paper so, if Paris is on Joy may just jab Paris on the head and watch your rateings go up and Joy go out. You already lost a great person (Rosie) don’t lose Joy,she makes the show and that’s the reason I watch now that Rosie is gone. Ride on Joy !!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST so everyone knows, I love Rosie too!

Rosie is intelligent, talented, entertaining, loving, passionate AND successful.

REAL!

Paris is a FU**ING idiot! Why is she even on television? What does she do?

I guess at this point it does not matter…

“The View” did not get the Emmy because Rosie quit, losing close to a million viewers that tuned in because they LOVE ROSIE!

SO…there are probably a million “illiterate iditots” that will tune in to watch
Paris make an ass of herself.

ACTUALLY, it will probably be a “toss-up” between her and Elisabeth.

Please don’t do that— I don’t know why she would be considered. When has she shown us she has any interest outside of herself and her reputation?

I think Walters needs a reality check. We don’t need that dopey rich jail bird on the show. We have had enough of her.
She is trashy, snobby, immoral, sluty
etc. Get a grip. Chose some wholesome, decent young girls on the show like Hillary Duff, Jennifer Love Hewlett etc. that young people can have as a role model.

Paris would be a novelty, but is she informed enough about what’s going on outside of her world to provide any witty or provacitive input into the conversations? The women on the view have very stong personalities and are not afraid to jump right in and give their 2 cents. I can’t imagine Paris doing that.
