'Extra' Has All the Secrets from the BET Awards

The gowns, the glamour and the smoking hot guys!

"Extra" was right in the middle of the hottest red carpet of the summer for the BET Awards.

But no one was hotter than Beyoncé - who showed up in a heavy metal dazzler, literally!

"It's heavy, I have to balance on you guys," Beyoncé said of her 50-pound gown.

Diana Ross, always reining supreme, showed "Extra" that 63 never looked so good in a stunning red dress.

After a rousing tribute from Chaka Kahn, Erica Badu and Stevie Wonder, Diana received BET's Lifetime Achievement Award.

And it was made all the more special because her proud children presented the award to their mom.

"It took me a lifetime to get here, and I'm not going anywhere," the still-sassy diva insisted.

Meanwhile, if the red carpet was sizzling, backstage was scorching hot.

Chaka admitted to "Extra" after the show, "I forgot the lyrics," but friend Patti LaBelle reassured her, saying, "Nobody noticed it!"

Queen Latifah had a fashion emergency at the show when she lost her precious jewels!

"I just lost my diamond," she exclaimed.

Then, it was a "Dreamgirls" reunion as Jennifer Hudson and original Broadway Dreamgirl Jennifer Holiday belted out the musical's signature tune, "There's No Way I'm Living Without You."

As always, the BET Awards were the perfect night of hot music and star power.

Thanks for this world and this country called AMERICA.
You guys actually get paid to talk about other people’s business & lives & where & what to buy this that and the other & who and what is doing what to who and when.
Bless you for that.
However, there are more important things in this time and age of this lifetime to care about what paris.h is going through or what she did and who bought her a cake or not for whenever. Or who and some beyonce` person’s outfit weighed how many pounds. Seriously…
Does anyone have nothing better to do ?
The world needs more than what you people do. Like talking & taking actions on how to do what ,when & how about how to increase world awareness for any individual in the world like the needy, the hungry and the sick. To make it a better place one at a time.
How sad. And that chick w/ the big ‘fro..”tamika” could she be anymore over on acting ? If that is who she is, so it is what it is..bless her. She’s still annoying.
But someone’s got to make some dough and be entertaining ( to others )at the same time.

TV does not match Me, I just happen to watch “stuff” tonight after years of non tv. Just My preference w/c I am entitled to.
Just as you guys are.

Yeah, how great is America to have this crap and be entertained by it.

NO! I’m still shocked about ludacris winning an award for “Runaway Love” at the 07 BET award show. first of all, how can any1 compare that song to 2pac?? 2pac rapped about REAL struggles and everyday life situations. In my opinion, luda only recieved an award because no one else stepped up 2 the plate 2 create songs like 2pac did. Dont get me wrong, i like luda, but i love 2pac more. “Runaway Love” to me, sounds more like a jingle that rhymes rather than a song that u feel in ur soul.
