Simon's Mom Spills Mr. Mean's Secrets!

He’s the judge known for his heart of stone, but “Extra” knows that sinister Simon has a soft side – and we have proof!

Simon’s queen mum, Julie Cowell, spilled all the secrets about her famous son.

Julie, who is 81 years young, can still pull her weight with her naughty son. When Simon walked onstage to "American Idol" with gum in his mouth, Julie did what any mother would do – yell!

“He walked out and I thought, ‘I can’t believe he’s chewing gum,’” Julie said. “And I went, ‘Simon!’ It was like he was three years old and did it immediately.”

So what really happens when Mr. Nasty shows his mean side? Julie calls him up on the phone!

“Mother still has a go,” Julie insisted.

It turns out the King of Cruel is really the Prince of Charm…especially around Mother’s Day.

“I had a new car from him a few weeks ago, which he insisted on buying me, so I’ll take that as a Mother’s Day present,” Julie said.

As for anything else she needs from her famous son…how about a marriage?

Julie said she wants Simon to marry “Extra’s” own Terri Seymour!

Ugh! Why doesnt Simon just dump Terri and marry Paula already! We all know she’s just in it for his money and fame. Plus Paula is way prettier than her!

i think that simon should marry paula because well have you seen them on american idol? i have also seen like a million pictures of them bugging each other and i herd that they have kissed each other at least 485 times only one was scripted. simon and terri? serri?
or simon and paula? saula? which sounds better to you? i know what sounds best to me. saula rules!

Terri is very good for Simon. She seems like a secure person and I think she realises that marriage probably won’t ever happen for them but knows that there is no point forcing the issue. Simon does seem sweet with Paula but at the end of the day that’s a persona he has on the television true he may be great mates with Paula but he’s been with Terri for 5 years and considering the previous longest relationship he’d been in was 2 years it’s clear there’s something strong between him and Terri. I love that Julie loves Terri like a daughter-in-law anyway regardless of whether or not he marries her.

With no disrespect to Terri or Julie, I don’t think a marriage is meant to be! I think that Simon & Terri are a nice couple, but I don’t think that they would be great as husband and wife. Hey, Simon, why don’t you give Paula a call? ;)

What is he waiting for!!!! Terri is just the perfect package! I also think she should host the view. She would be a hoot.
Buy the way Terri, Simon the biggest cutie I have ever seen. He is like a seven year old-he just make me giggle!
