Sources have confirmed to “Extra” that John Mayer and Jessica Simpson have officially called it quits.
The pair’s 9-month relationship has included romantic scenes, such as a recent snapshot of the pair kissing on the beach in Australia.
Jessica is currently enjoying the party scene in Cannes. Meanwhile, we spotted John partying last night at a club in New York.

Jessica and Nick made the cutest couple and it’s a pity they never worked out. They were good together! WHat happened to Jessica…. she has changed so much. She doesn’t have to dress like she does or show off becoz she was and is beautiful just being natural. I wish her the best BUT she should have stayed with Nick… marriage is a committment that people need to learn to work on that’s why the vows are said, thru thick n thin!!!

Jessica Simpson and her sister are both talentless spoiled brats. It’s sad really how many musicians these days sound like crap when they aren’t using studio altered voiceovers. John Mayer has so much talent and what he saw in her is beyond me. Besides the fact that she is a complete idiot and it’s obvious in his songwriting he is very intelligent. A guy that saw a sort of pretty face that sucked him in. Thank God he got out when he did.

no actully she was married for 3 years and she was happy and if she wasn’t happy why did she stay in the marriage for so long… and it is her fathers fault he needs to let her be on her own or she will end up qol and alone with a thousand cats….

As long as she let’s her family (father) run her life she will never find happiness. He ruined her marriage with Nick. I bet she regrets that one. She needs to really live her own life to find her own happiness. Her dad already lived his life. He should back off already !!!!!!!! Let your daughters live they own life.. Oh, how sad, I hope Jessica will get it together and find happiness. She never should have left Nick. Her father has way to much say in her life.I think he is the main reason her marriage went bad, he had way to much input. She needs to take over her own life to find her own happiness. LET HER HAVE HER FUN. SHE WAS MARRIED FOR 2 YRS AND TURNED OUT SHE WAS NOT HAPPY. SO EVERYONE STEP OFF AND LET HER HAVE FUN. EVENTUALLY SHE WILL SETTLE DOWN WHEN SHE READY.

I think Jessica is beautiful and wish her all the happiness in the future, she deserves everything in life and yes it was a shame that her and Nick split but everything in life happens for a reason and i truly believe that
