Personally, I like Kathy Griffin a great deal, but I don’t think she’s appropriate to moderate the panel. As far as moderator goes, Whoopi is stronger. They’ve eluded to perhaps filling two seats, but how many stand-up comics should comprise the panel?
I was pleasantly surprised when Alexandra Wentworthy co-hosted this week. I had no idea who she was, but she was terrific.
I also think Reba McEntire should be tested. She is a calm, even, hospitable presence with a lot of charm and talent. She’s a pro.

after watching about five minutes of “america’s got talent” it occurred to me, like a light switch being turned on… SHARON OSBOURNE! call me crazy, but i think she would be a welcome change to the view and would almost over shadow the whole rosie episode, she would knock ‘em dead!!!
I think they should add some color to the View…seriously…is it just white women views on what is happening in the world? I liked the View when Lisa Ling was in there. I don’t care who they have on there as long as it represents the diversity of views in the U.S.
The View needs a lady who is both beautiful and brilliant. She should look good on the inside as well as the outside, and be able to collectively hold her own in the most heated of conversations. We need someone who is open and honest and represents mainstream America’s point of view . After all isn’t that what the show should be all about…the View…not the celebrity behind it?
With all that said, I recommend Tammy Bennett
Kathy Griffin or Whoopi Goldberg are both excellent choices. Both are funny articulate and intelligent. Goldberg might be a calmer, more grounding presence (and provides some needed diversity on the panel), while Griffin has an infectious positive energy. Picking either of these ladies is a win/win.
Carolyn Hinsey from Soap Opera Digest is an awesome choice. She’s the funniest person I’ve ever seen on the show. She gets my vote too!!!
Whoopi Goldberg would be great! She is one smart & fun lady.

i think whoppi should get the job. she is the best canidate for the position and will last and raise the ratings and she’s not a lesbo like that fat ugly *** rosie!
i think whoppi will be the best of the four potentials to replace rosie. she will bring a lot to the show, shyt that rosanne and the other 2 cant bring to the show.

I really think America needs a Young woman who is brilliant, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside and one who can stand on her own two feet! I elect my Daughter Laura!!! The view needs a NEW point of View from someone who is Young, Mature and in the KNOW!!!! Someone who isn’t out there drinking, cussing and can honestly BE a Real ROLE MODEL for the troubled Youth of today…Check out Laura on Myspace. Laura Tesch That’s my point of View.
They need to change the show to include men. The catty women are wearing thin. I want more stories on health, travel, entertainment, and less talk on politics-esp. when for the most part they do not know what they are talking about. There’s more to talk about. Rosie made the show too negative-she was always angry about something and really WHO CARED.

MY HOPES ARE FOR WHOOPI GOLDBERG TO REPLACE ROSIE. BUT, HOW ABOUT MARIO PANTONE. HE CERTAINLY HAS NO QUALMS ABOUT WHAT HE SAYS.
