Anonymous I guess you missed the part where Alec threatens to come there and straighten his daughters *** out. That was in no way inferred to be done with a hug. Your advocating of violence is very troubling. Curing one’s young impressionable child out, calling them a pig repeatedly and a very bad human being and threaten them with violence because you are not close enough to simply beat their *** is not “healthy emotion of anger”. It is abuse.

“dared to show anger.” That was beyond Anger that was Alec showing rage AGAIN and at his young child because she did not answer her phone. Alec had no idea if the child was in the shower, taking a nape, away from her phone watching TV forgetting it in another room. No Alec went to rage mode immediately (which is nothing new for him). This is not a stand a lone incident. Alec’s violent behavior has been documented for years. At others as well as at his wife and child.

My fear is what type of head cases we would wind up with if people like you who believe in Abuse towards children and woman actually breed. Alec was abusive towards his child period. We heard his own words. Alec has been abusive in the past. Take your head out of the sand or would that be out of Alec’s butt and see the facts.

Now since harsh words are not abusive as you say just “a healthy emotion of anger” as you say, I am sure everything I have said here has been well received by you and deserves praise from you for my “daring to show anger”. Most people would not like it but as you feel verbal abuse is oh so healthy then you should appreciate my feelings about you and your opinion advocating pro violence towards woman and children, all the more.

I apologies that I was unable to use curse words and really belittle you and your cockeyed views about abuse being good for children but no matter how much I want to be verbally abusive, oh I mean let out my “healthy emotion of anger”. I just can’t say all the abusive things I would love to say to another person even though you are a stranger because; I know it would hurt you. Oh yeah I’d feel good and as you said isn’t that all that count’s but, you would not so I refrain. So it shocks me how easy Alec found it to say those words to his child.

Comparing Alec to OJ is rediculous. There is a difference between domestic violence and someone showing the healthy emotion of anger. And there is a major difference between a murderer and someone who had enough and dared to show anger.

Not everyone who voices their opinions in a raised tone, or those who show anger, is an abuser. Give us all a break here.

The PC crowd is creating more mental head cases by making people think that anger- a normal, much needed, healthy, emotion is a sign that someone is definitely an abuser and this is false and dangerous.

I am more concerned about that person who acts like the perfect parent in the open while they go home behind closed doors to violate their families any day. That is the profile of many hardcore abusers. They have One personna for the public and quite another for the private.

The press wants to villify anyone who shows the emotion anger too. Any star who shows they are human with anger will have a tape to follow them for years and a label to boot and It’s getting absolutely nuts.

The tabloid reporters goad and harass stars by saying very hurtful and invading statements to them to get them to show anger to get the perfect shot. Of course we never see the entire video coverage of what the trash reporter said and did to the stars do we?

Meanwhile the “anger” label sticks and it does not matter if the star has not shown ANY anger for YEARS, the next time they get the angry outburst shot or video the press jumps on them for being human again and start that bonfire of accusing that star of having anger issues all over again.

Look into the cases where people have snapped because they kept healthy anger in to build up and did not speak up when issues hit them and we can see a lot more damage has occured from people not knowing how to express anger or being allowed to show it for fear of PC labels like abuser etc.

The stars cannot win in these situations. If they do not speak up and defend themselves people say the rumors must be real. If they do speak up and defend themselves people say they should have kept quiet or they analyze each statement. 99% of us would speak up if we were being unfairly attacked in the public. I do not blame Alec for one moment for speaking out.

But as we have seen- the press has decided “who” they think this man is and they will not allow the public to have any other opinion of him. Nor will they allow us to see the other 364 days that he is leading a normal, “uneventful”, angry-free life.

Does the name OJ Simpson mean anything here? Mr. Baldwin is just like him but hopefully we’ve gotten a lot wiser about the cycle of Domestic Violence. Mr. Baldwin doth protest too much and for those of you who “believe him”, please let him go and make permanent residency in France which he has said he would do. Good riddance—one less batterer to have to worry about, and Ms. Basinger and Ireland Baldwin can then sleep good for the rest of their lives!

Alex needs to get remarried, have another kid with a new wife and the world would see what kind of father he was TRYING to be to his kid with Kim. With many fathers after divorce just walking away from their kids completely we are already seeing why so many kids are such a mess today. Kids need TWO parents and I could care less what liberalism thinks it has done for us women. Seperating children from the influence and guidance of two parents has wrecked havoc on our future generations who are becoming manipulative, users, and want it all now. For kids like Kim’s the years of pitting parents manipulatively against each other will teach them well how to get what they want without having to work for it.

If Alex had another kid and family to consume his time Kim would then be begging for him to give her a fraction of the parenting time she has eagerly shoved away now WHILE hurting her own daughter. A daughter that is LUCKY to have TWO parents who WANT to be in her life. A daughter that is probably a spoiled brat who is using this separation to her advantage like most of these rich brats do. With her mother behind the scenes pulling all the strings.

I think that Alec Baldwin has major anger issues that he should be forced to deal with in therapy. All I heard from his interview was blaming others: the media, Kim, etc. He then tried to use his poor mother to gain sympathy for him. But, once again, he was not able to stop himself before slamming Kim once again. No, I certainly don’t know what all’s gone on in their custody battle, but this kind of behavior is simply unacceptable! He should only be allowed supervised visitation until he has completed anger therapy and they should both be put under very strict gag orders that would make them spend jail time when abused.

Prior to Alec Baldwin’s interview, I was sympathetic to his plight. Custody battles are just plain ugly and many times the attorneys encourage the parents to push each other’s buttons. However, after the interview, I just felt Alec was a whiny, self-absorbed typical deadbeat parent trying to gain sympathy (and control) over his daughter out of spite. This whole “alienation of parental rights” crap is just another way to cause friction between two parents who both want control/custody over a minor child. Of course, the child is always the one who gets hurt in these scenarios.

Grow up Alec and start acting like a man.

I have never been against Alec. Kim is the one who is the bad parent in this and she knows it. She is probably provoking this out of him and getting their daughter to do the same thing.I feel sorry for Alec and I believe he needs to be left alone through all of this. Every body blows up at their kid especially when the kids are egging it on.

I don’t think we should be so hard on Alec. We have all said things in anger. Maybe to our parents, husbands, or siblings. That doesn’t mean we don’t love them. Also, I would be willing to bet that Ireland is a brat.

I did not see the interview. But, I can understand Alec’s frustration. The public tends to forget that celebrities are people too (not perfect). By no means do I agree with how he handled the situation, but I do understand how it could happen.God forbid, if those who are so quick to JUDGE ever lose there temper(yes even with our children).To, Alec,Kim,and Ireland my prayers are with you.

Crossed my mind that the whole thing was all a setup just to sell his upcoming book so I will wait to see if Alec takes any money for his book before passing judgement. (Probably already has received a large advance) Does he need more money from his book or does he really want to help others? Kids are smart and Ireland will undoubtedly see through both of her parents in the long run!

How much damage did that do to his daughter? He is known for his attitude and anger problems - perhaps that is why he isn’t getting custody. He has had temper problems before- this may not have been the first time this has happened. He is such a jerk. the only thing he is sorry for is that he got caught.
