FOR all you GOOFY comment posters on my young friend Sanjaya, you people don’t know what you are talking about. I have been to many amateaur nights at the Apollo Theater in the past,1970’s/80’s to date. I know a good voice coming from the heart, IT is NOT the Hair, Sanjaya has a good voice, one thing I have noticed he always sings in tune and is never off note. Yes I vote for him, I like his voice.

Please Simon, Randy and Paula do something. Sanjaya is ruining the show, he is a joke and i hope he realizes that! I am a very loyal fan of idol, i will still watch the show, but i am hopeful that this week he will be out. Everybody please stop voting for him, you should be ashame of yourself.

Sanjaya’s ‘fan base’ is driven by Howard Stern’s tasteless idea of ‘fun’. He is behind the ‘vote for the worse Idol’ movement. It is supposed to be a singing competition.

I agree - multiple votes by each caller is hurting the others.

So - fight back. Vote for the other singers till he is gone.

Don’t stop watching the show because Howard Stern is a mean, narrow-minded, egotist. The success of AI must be pissing him off. Don’t let Howard Stern win.

It’s a shame Howard Stern has so much time to fill on his show that he has to pick on American Idol. If they had to vote for the biggest waste of air time it would be Howard Stern,he is without doubt the biggest loser, Sanjaya is the runner up!!! However, to all of you who state they will never watch American Idol again, well you are helping Howard succeed, he stated that if he can ruin something as big as this it makes him feel good. So go ahead and stop watching, success will be his!!

Sanjaya should not have made it past the first cuts…it should be a rule that you need to be 18 yrs and older to vote. And only be allowed to vote once per show. The judges should continue to be a part of the decision about who gets to move on and who goes home. This is a singing competition, its turning into a big joke! If Sanjaya wins, I will not watch the american idol again. Sanjaya is another William Hung!!

Sanjaya needs to remove himselve from the competition because he knows that he can’t sing. It is a shame that the people that could really sing got booted off for this thing. I do not even know what to call it.

Once they get to the top 5 the real competition begins. This season is a real travesity and a bit nauseating to watch. Whoever thinks Sanjaya can sing needs to see an Audiologist for a hearing test. I think that audience should be 50% of the vote and the other 50% by the judges. That way it is a fair game for everyone and you won’t have people like Howard Stern ruining a good thing.

I have always enjoyed the show until all of this began happening. I understand that Howard Stern and some female are requestng that people vote for Sanjaya. Why? To ruin the show?

I pray sanjaya does not win. He isn’t that good of a singer compared to others on the show. he should not have even made it to the top 12 or even made it to hollywood to be truthful.

I think it is terrible that Howard Stern is speaking out for people to vote and help Sanjaya win when he can’t sing and is taking this away from someone who really would deserve to win because they have talent !!!!!!!

As an older idol fan, I think Sanjaya is a joke. If he continues to stay on
AM I will find something worthwhile to watch and forget about American Idol for good. I think the shows days are numbered.

I am in total agreement with all of the above comments. We’ve lost GOOD singers due to this stupid vote to keep him on! If he by some chance wins this contest, I will no longer watch this show. I feel a great many adults are feeling this same way. This is supposed to be a TALENT show! C’on Simon, do something!!! He never should have had the chance to even get to the finals! Are we now stuck with no way out? Whew!I feel better now - at least I can vent!
