I don’t like Sanjaya, he cannot sing at all. This is a singing contest not a American Talent to see if he can dance nor is this a beauty pagent to see how he will wear his hair. This is American Idol a place to SING and sing good. Sanjaya is using air time for a circus time. I don’t like him at all and never have and I truly hope he will get off very soon.

I am a loyal A.I. fan and this is the first time I felt compelled to “comment” on the show. I think Sanjaya is a joke. I understand the publicity factor and it draws ratings but this is over the top.I also want to mention that I watched it from the start and Simon, Paula and Randy did not put thru talent way better than Sanjaya, so I think when they start making all these negative comments ( which I agree with) they need to look at their selections a little closer !

I am not watching Idol every nite. I do, however, watch “Extra” at noon. The news highlights they give keep one updated on the show. How can anyone vote for him? Take this test: close your eyes and really listen to him sing (or whatever he calls it). Keep your eyes closed for the whole show. Select the person who really sang very well. Now, open your eyes.

HE HAS NO TALENT. Girls just scream because of his looks (I guess, or his London accent). His being on the show is a slap in the face to the people who are on the show and DO HAVE TALENT.
He needs to be kicked off the show to allow for REAL talented individuals to compete.

If you don’t like Sanjaya, why are you still watching because you look forward to seeing him. Sanjaya, be an Idol even if you don’t win American Idol. YOU ARE STILL AN IDOL ON THIS SHOW!We love you!

Im amazed how many people here hate sanjaya. Come on, give that guy a break. If he’s still there then a lot of people probably still want him to be there. If you don’t think he deserves another week, go out and vote for the others. This is still a democratic country and we vote whoever we want. If there are more people who like Sanjaya then so be it. Deal with it. It’s a TV show and doesn’t necessarily impact your way of living.
By the way, just curious, did you buy the albums of other previous Idol winners? If not why care who should be the winner or not?

Ok. So i dont know how the rest of america is voting, but i do know that if this, BOY, wins, American Idol will never go back on in my house!!!

I think American Idol has hit rock bottom. I sincerely hope this is the last year for this rubbish. I tuned in one night and was really put off by the continual bickering between the host and Simon, and Simon’s Holier Than Thou attitude and verbal abuse of the kids. If Simon is such an expert, why did he put Sanjaya on TV to start with? I’m done - no more American Idol on my TV.

Sanjaya is NOT the worst out of the men. They are all rubbish this season, but Sanjaya at least has charm and personality. With more experience he could also be a great singer. The other male singers need a complete makeover, and even that would not work! The look so wimpy and have these stupid high girly voices. I’m sick of them not sounding like men when they sing! AI is rubbish this time around, especially when they put someone like Gina off! SHE COULD REALLY SING!

In reading the profile of the contestants,I find that Sonjaya calling his sister for advise about what song to sing;shows me that he is not very confidant about his own voice. I would like to have him pick his own music and see how bad or good he does then.
A real good singer would be confidant in picking his/her own music to sing.
I don’t find his hair all that great either,he can’t even move that good on the stage.

I think that it’s really unfortunate that, although cute,Sanjaya is still around on American Idol.
All I can say,is that Sanjaya wins over the incredibly talented Lakisha,Melinda,or Jordin,something is really wrong with Americans.

I honsestly think all of this fuss about Sanjaya has become very mean spirited and it should stop. He seems like a very nice kid, and he does not deserve all of this negative publicity against him. He is young and still has time ahead of him to improve his vocals.

man these judges have bad taste to pick people to compete in amercia idol here is one example, picking sanjaya that was a huge mistake atleast his sister is off the show I bet you she is worse than him or even both can be the worst.

He has been winning because of the voting(by the way who is voting for him?)if there was no voting he would be off the show by now.
