Hollywood power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones teed off Sunday for the 9th annual Michael Douglas and Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament.
Catherine and Michael teamed up with “Extra” at the golf extravaganza, where we asked who the better golfer was.
“I have to live with him -- my husband,” Catherine confessed.
The beautiful couple also dished to us their secrets to the marriage game.
“Just being kind to each other; enjoying each other’s company,” Catherine said.
This weekend, the duo was in good company, surrounded by stars like Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Cheryl Ladd and Heather Locklear, for the annual celebrity tourney benefiting the Motion Picture and Television Fund and airing on NBC on June 10.
“We spend hours together, all around the world, playing golf,” Catherine revealed. “Some of our biggest discussions are around golf.”
“When I was first so smitten with Catherine, I asked ‘Do you play golf?’” Douglas recalled. “She said, ‘I love it.’ Yes, that's it. The deal's done!”
After six years of wedded bliss, the couple is still in fine form despite their 25-year age difference.
“The nice thing about being older is you don't take anything for granted,” Douglas said. “When you got it good, you treat it right.”
Despite the tabloid stories, including one which painted Michael as a jealous husband over Catherine’s on-screen work with Aaron Eckhart in the summer movie “No Reservations,” Catherine admitted that her husband is anything but worried.
“Are you kidding me? If he's jealous of Aaron, think of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Antonio Banderas, Sean Connery,” she said. “My God, I've had the best run of leading men in my life!”
In this latest flick, Catherine plays a top chef, a role that finally gave her the chance to pick up a few culinary skills in real life.
“I learned to chop, dice, flip,” she admitted.
Now, her husband is “really impressed because it’s taken me seven years to do this for him.”
