Jenna Elfman on TomKat: 'Honestly, They're Happy'

The recent tabloids may claim that there is a rift between newlyweds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, but good friend Jenna Elfman says don't believe what you hear.

Elfman put the rumors to rest at the Healthy Child Healthy World Benefit Thursday night, telling "Extra," "Honestly, they're happy. They have a great life, and they love each other."

Meanwhile, "Extra" spotted Katie Holmes canoodling with another man - but don't worry, it was all in character.

Holmes is filming a new movie called "Mad Money" with Adam Rothenberg.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are so into each other because they have an beautiful daughter suri and best friends it seems to me they have wonderful life and I have to say everythings is going to be all right.

I just have to get this off my chest. I don’t know anything about the recent tabloids or the upcoming movies, but I totally lost respect for Mr. “Couch Jumping” Cruise when he let his real self out on national television - remember, The “Today Show” controversy.

I disagree w/almost everything he shouted out to Matt Lauer and concluded that he must think he’s perfect and knows absolutely everything there is to know about everything… like God. He just showed me how un-open-minded he is to the real world and what is actually going on.

And as far as Katie goes, I think she looks sad in some of these pictures of her. She was so much prettier before she had the surgeries (or whatever) on her face. I truly believe (but realize that I’m not perfect and could be wrong), that Tom married Katie because of her beauty and young age. Being so young, he has and can mold her into what he wants her to be and wants her to believe (i.e., scientology), and maybe even how he wants her to look.

If what I have said is true, it makes me real sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, I will never really know the truth, because only Tom and God know what that is. I just pray that Katie is happy.

I dont pay attention to the personal lives of stars because if that consumes me that I have no tv show or movies to watch. That said Katie not part of Batman is so depressing in many levels.
It will make complete sense to see Bruce and Rachel with Katie Holmes not Maggie Gyllenhaal. It feels fake and so corporate to see an imposter unlike Katie who makes us feel at home.
She is the real America’s girl next door. If Im the one running a studio Katie Holmes stays in the sequel and I will keep hiring her. Why the gamble?
because many men including women appeal to her. Even young girls.
Now that’s quality and *good business*.
Im very much looking forward to Mad Money.

Tabloid gossip on TomKat or any stars are totally not cool. Stick a fork to all this lies and nastiness. Regarding Katie’s Mad Money movie I am so there. My sister will be watching it and my 2 aunts. My brother’s girlfriend will watch it too.

I love TomKat along with Jada & Will,Selleck and his wife,Tom Hanks and Rita,Paul Newman and his wife,Denzel and his wife,Rob Lowe and his wife. Very selected couples in Hollywood. I can hardly wait for Madd Money and also the movie of Tom Cruise. How long do we have to wait?

It seems like Star and Us magazine and Ok and In touch and In style , except for People, have this agenda to spread false stories about Tomkat or to break them up. They keep putting them on the cover of their magz for weeks. I think maybe people keep buying the mags that have them on the covers or something or maybe they just want to hate! I wish them the best and I too cant wait for their movies to come out so I can see them!

Its so rare to see dignified stories on print and on our TV sets. Journalism today on celebs,the U.S.,politics,war,economy et al are cannibalism.

I wish Tom and Katie forever joy in their marriage and the rest of the world. We need more happy couples not breakups and divorces.

Im lining up for Katie’s comeback and that for Tom’s projects and bringing back MGM & United Artists.

Nasty rumors shoved down our throats by the tabloids just makes me gag. Im so tired of it. I want to see the movie of Tom Cruise already. Im watching Katie’s movie with my aunt.
