How Howard Popped the Question to His Longtime Love

Shock jock Howard Stern and his beautiful fiancée, “Extra’s” own Beth Ostrosky, made a rare appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York Thursday night, and the talk titan finally gave us the scoop on how he popped the question to his longtime love.

“We got into bed, we took off all our clothes,” Howard said.

“You can imagine how that looked for me from my end,” Beth added. “I said yes.”

“Yeah, she said yes, it didn’t look that bad.”

We’re sure the 5.2-carat ring that Howard designed didn’t hurt either.

“I put some energy and effort into it,” Stern insisted. “I'm a hero.”

Pop princess Britney Spears’ reps denied rumors today that the star is set to write a new tell-all book.

Meanwhile, we spotted the rehabbed pop queen with her two sons at the Millennium Dance Studio in Los Angeles.

Britney donned cowboy boots, fishnets and a cowgirl lid and carried Sean Preston on the way in. On the way out, Brit’s assistant did the heavy lifting and younger brother Jaden got a lift from a security guard.

Alec Baldwin: 'I Want to Say I'm Sorry'

His telephone tirade lit a firestorm, and now “Extra” has your first look at Alec Baldwin’s interview on Friday’s “The View.”

“I want to say that I'm sorry to anyone who that was offended by what happened,” Alec said. “I'm sad about the way it all played out.”

After his on-air apology, Alec also dropped this bomb: he wants to quit “30 Rock” to save his TV family from getting dragged into the controversy. However, for now, NBC is standing by his contract.
