'Dancing Stars' Work to Get into Top Shape

The stars are getting ready to let loose on the dance floor, and “Extra” will be with them every step of the way.

Our Terri Seymour flew all the way to London to sit down for an exclusive interview with Heather Mills, who revealed how excited she is about her “Dancing with the Stars” adventure.

“I don't understand or know any of the dances, so when somebody says pasadoble or rumba I'm like, okay, I haven't got a clue,” Heather admitted.

But Mills told “Extra” her dance partner is very encouraging, especially during moves that are difficult because of her prosthetic leg.

“With my leg being artificial, I won't be able to do the heels and toes things, but he said he's quite pleased because of my fitness,” Mills told us. “I’m quite flexible.”

As Heather perfects her routines, “90210” hunk Ian Ziering and his partner, two-time and reigning “Dancing” champ, Cheryl Burke are working on their moves.

“I'm a quick study,” Ziering insisted. “I have a lot to learn, I have a long road ahead of me and it starts one step at a time.”

Meanwhile, former “Extra” anchor Leeza Gibbons said that while she might have two left feet, she has the heart of a lion.

“I am turning 50 the first week of the show, and I want to be fearless at 50,” Leeza said.

And just because Joey Fatone once showed off his moves with boy band, ‘N Sync, doesn’t mean he’s got all the right moves.

“It's a different ballpark right now. These shoes that I have to wear are Latin shoes that have a heel and the actual shoe itself is very thin and it hurts…it really does,” he said.

Dancing with the Stars” kicks off Monday, Mar. 19 on ABC.

But before the dance-off begins, we want to know who you are pulling for! Leave us your comments on who you think will dance to the top.

Ian and Cheryl get my vote! They always look fantastic and give every dance their 100%. Ian is not a professional dancer like Joey Fatone, or a professional athlete like Apolo or Laila, so he comes to the show at a disadvantage to them. But yet he stays up with them in talent. A week ago he received six straight “9s” from the judges, so he definitely has the potential to win. I hope he surprises everyone by giving us his best performances in the next two weeks and capturing the trophy. If you like Ian and Cheryl, please do your part to vote for them on Monday — vote 4 times for each phone number and 4 times online. Also, Ian has really cool videos on his websites at www.IanZiering.com and www.MySpace.com/OfficialIZ and there you can sign up to receive his fun email blasts.

Heather Mills was dumped by Paul, dumped by PETA, and soon to be dumped by the viewers of Dancing With the Stars. Go Joey Fatone!

Why are they promoting Heather Mills as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador?! She is not Angelina Jolie. Go to the UN website—-Mills is only a U.N. ambassador in her dreams. She will make anything up for attention. Watch out, she’ll slip and fall and sue ABC!

I hope Heather loses in the first round.

I think the sports rank will rise to the top again. First Jerry Rice, then Emmett Smith and now Clyde Drexler!!!!

I am just so excited about this show. it should be a great one as the other years have been. My favorite is Billy Ray Cyrus. He will be putting forth 110% effort as he always does in any new things he attempts. Wishing him the best.
