Anyone who gets through on any level of American Idol, and especially the higher levels of the show, will be able to use the kudos when auditioning for any work.

By now, the attitude, and remarks of the panel, are well known. So, nothing should be shocking any more. with all the varying cultures who are contestants on the show, it is apparent there is no racist card here at all.

But, whatever, this is obviously a very popular television show, and would be some kind of achievement for any singer to be accepted, even on the first level. From here, they all have a chance with the publicity, to get some degree of success in their careers. Especially, if they work hard enough at it, given this moment of fame.

People get over it. Jennifer Hudson must have been good enough to win an Oscar. To be a person that knew nothing about acting was good as far as I am concerned. True some of the clothes she has worn didn’t do anything for her full figure BUTTT If you watched the red carpet event you would have seen that she doesn’t pick her clothes so talk to the one who did.

If anybody is on a high WHITE horse, it’s Simon. He is the one who needs to get off of it! He can’t sing worth a damn while he is “calling the kettle black”. I am soooooo sick of his negative and rude remarks. Someone in his position should learn what CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is instead of DESTRUCTIVE and RUDE remarks.

I think Jennifer proved, if you follow your dream no matter what anyone says, you can be successful. It was not in Simons hands. He had his opinion, but he isn’t God. I think Extra should let it go. Jennifer has thanked the right person, and she has done it with grace and humility. I am so sick of these entertainment shows. Why do they think that they have to make nothing into something to get people to watch?

Why is it that everyone see’s a person’s race first and not just as a fellow human being or for their talent. Are we always going to be stuck on stupid by dredging up the past. Move on in your lives for Gods’ sake. What ever happened in the past should stay in the past. I wish people would quit being ‘color struck’, and live up to their fullest potential without color ever entering into the picture!!! Besides people will never get along, there will always be some idiot bringing other people down. That’s why I live by this motto:
“Do what you feel in your heart to be right because you will be criticized anyway, you will be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t”.

My,my,my! The world has not changed. Racism is still alive and growing! Alot of you are nothing but a bunch of racist irrogant people! Race has nothing to do with American Idol! It is about talented singers! That is what Jennifer Hudson is and she do not owe Simon anything. And to the person that commented on blacks throwing in the race card, are you feeling guilty about how your people treated African Americans? I feel the only reason why blacks are doing this because it is stupid racist people like you that don’t let them forget!

I love Simon. Yall ought to give the man credit for being one of the most honest human beings in the world. I agree Jennifer Hudson did not show off her voice in American Idol the way she did in Dreamgirls - perhaps it was the song choice. She is getting really cocky and big headed and I am tired of her already. I must give her credit where it is due for her song performance in Dreamgirl and that’s it. again if it was not for American Idol no one would have heard of her or cared. She needs to get over herself right away before the public does it for her. I want to see some humility from her and grace and thankfulness to the American Idol cast. She is no better than that Kelly Clarkson UNGRATEFUL. Remember what goes up -must come down.

Jennifer has thanked AI in some way or another for every award she has received. Simon needs to let this go!!!! Jennifer is Blessed and Highly Favored!!! It’s God’s doing and it’s definitely marvelous in my eyes. Now can we move on!!!!

EXTRA EXTRA should stop causing confusion between people by leading things on as they do. SAD, but true.

I think that the whole thing is overated. When you CHOOSE to go on american idol, you know that you will receive good and bad comments, however the final decision is left up to the american public. You should not dwell on it.

jennifer does not owe simon anything i feel that he gets far too much credit in his abusive ways and he needs someone to let him see the what its like to be on the receiving end of things

I watched American Idol when Jennifer was on the show. I thought she was a good singer,most of the time. It was her attitude and her behavior on the show is why I did not vote for her. I think that the public that watch the show do listen to Simon to a point, but it isn’t the only thing the public listens to. I personally felt Jennifer was full of herself and I believe others were better qualified to win.

It’s obvious Jennifer is a liar. Simon is a straight shooter; sometimes he’s nice; sometimes he’s painfully honest. This is life. If you can’t take the criticism, get out. Don’t forget, Jennifer; America voted you off the show; they didn’t care for you. Simon had nothing to do with it. You should be extremely humble and feel really lucky for what you have now. Lose the attitude. America sees too much of that kind of thing in celebrities, and it’s a real turn-off.

Simon, i am one of your fans thou i know a lot hates your style but being frank is healthy and helpful in ones success only if it is received as a constructive challenge to self.

Jennifer is just enjoying her share of FAME & if she forgot where she came from, understand it is her TIME now and give her a CHANCE. she will realize it in due time to ask forgiveness with which Simon already long been forgiven her.

More than once Simon was heard to say “CLAY AIKEN IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO AMERICAN IDOL”. So now you refer to Clay as ‘Who” as though he doesn’t even exist.
You and your organization abandoned Clay but he still managed to sell over 5 million albums.
So, get over it ***hole…Clay is here to stay.

I do believe that American Idol was a conduit to Jennifer Hudson’s career , but I also believe Simon said some pretty rough things to her which they failed to air (of course!!) . He plainly said that he could not go beyond American Idol . NOOOOOOO , they would never air him saying that now would they ??? That might make Simon look wrong !!! Heaven forbid!

Also on EXTRA a little bit after that clip , Terri played a word association game with Simon , mentioning some of the idols and a word that would come to mind about them . When Terri mentioned “CLAY’S” name, Simon said “WHO”?? !
Geeeeee Simon , I don’t mean to be rude but ……..I do believe that the 3 times you had Clay on as a guest the ratings increased !!! Especially for a short 2-3 minutes on Season 5 , he appeared and blew everyone out of the water!! What is wrong with you anyway ???

Jennifer did not lie when she said that Simon was not warm towards her. I watched every episode that season, and the clippings of the positive comments that Simon made to her were correct, but incomplete as presented to us the viewers. You failed to air (review) the negative comments that Simon made regarding Jennifer’s outfits. I also believe that he thought she was too loud on another occasion. Yes, I too, got the feeling at the time, that Simon was not a Jennifer fan, yet, I also know that Simon is the most painfully honest and constructive critique on the panel.
