Rudy Giuliani: 'Whatever Mistakes I Made in My Personal Life, I'm Sorry'

Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani and wife Judy are in the hot seat with Barbara Walters Friday night.
The newswoman pulled no punches, grilling both over being married three times.
“Whatever mistakes I made in my personal life, I made and I’m sorry,” Rudy told her.
Catch the full interview, Friday night on “20/20.”

Oh, my, Barbara Walters is “fashionable” with her intrusion of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Giuliani’s personal lives. Barbara, how do you equate their personal loves with Mr. Juliani’s mental acumen and physical condition to perform his presidential duties, if he should become the Republican Party’s presidential nominee and subsequently become the winner of the Electoral College’s majority votes?
Human interest stories abound among the media. Money and popularity of 20/20 are the principal concerns of your program. Shall you interview Wm. J. Clinton and H.R. Clinton and delve into their respective personal sexual lives. No! Why not? One is a philander and the other is a bisexual. Maybe more lesbian than heterosexual. Wow! These are certaily human interest stories. Of course, these stories also have no relevance regarding H.R. Clinton’s aspiration to become the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee and maybe subequently the winner of the Electoral College’s majority votes.
Journalists I find too often speak poorly and write poorly. And seldom know indepth information about any academic subject like Political Science for an example.
May your ratings by those who watch your 20/20 Program sustain your populatity with the vacuous minds of TV watchers.
20/20 should, I think, present to hopeful presidential nominees of the respective national parties’ dialogue regarding their respective positions on important domestic and foreign issues.
My mental dislike for the media’s irresponsibility to the American public has been temporarily purged via this message.
Respectively,
Vincent W. Mele
