I first read about Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe and their split up on People magazine online and then later, Ryan said he got lazy in their marriage, that a marriage has to be worked on and then there was the movie he was making with a young 20-something female co-star and the rumours began and basically, Reese filed for separation due to ‘cheating’ and when Ryan guest-starred on Ellen’s show, he made it sound like being a single dad was tough and I thought, you were the one who didn’t put much if any effort into your marriage and you did or didn’t get involved with your young English co-star and you?? feel bad…what about Reese?
That’s the downside to Hollywood marriages. One or the other spouse, goes on location somewhere, has a female lead and more often than not, gets involved with that person and the spouse at home, usually a woman, gets left out of the picture.
