Super Bowl XLI Brings Party People to Miami

Miami is already rocking and rolling in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday, and “Extra’s” special correspondent Chris Isaak is jumping in on the fun at the PlayStation Oasis at the Raleigh Hotel.

On Thursday night, Fergie rocked the stage along with John Legend and Kayne West at the Pepsi Smash Concert.

“It’s one of my first times doing this big of a show as a solo artist,” Fergie dished. “I’m excited.”

But revving up the crowd was just the beginning of these artists’ weekend plans.

“My team is playing on Sunday, so I’m super excited about that!” Kayne said.

“I’m hosting a party after the Super Bowl,” Fergie told us. “I’m going to the Ocean Drive party, I’m going to the Maxim party.”

After the Pepsi Smash Concert, Fergie partied with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo at Shaq’s Super Bowl fest.

On Friday morning, we spotted Nick back on party patrol, as he hit the high seas with some buddies while chatting on his cell phone.

But things are mellow compared to how Miami will sizzle over the weekend!

“Extra’s” special correspondent Katie Lee Joel showed us a few of the ways the ladies will pamper themselves during the all-star weekend bash.

Katie took over South Beach’s exclusive Intermix, where the stars will shop until they drop.

“The Hilton sisters, the Duff sisters” love the store, dished store manager Melissa Feldman.

Melissa also shared this season’s must haves, which included an orange Chloe dress and platforms.

“This season, platforms are hot. Chloe is the ‘it’ shoe,” Feldman said.

Another chic item? The Versace handbag, which retails for a cool $4,000.

Lucky for “Dancing with the Stars” champ and NFL great Emmitt Smith’s wife, Pat Smith, money was no object when she took “Extra” along to the Off the Field Fashion Show.

Pat played host for a team of NFL player’s wives at the runway show, and she even landed a hard hitting interview with her superstar hubby.

“How do you deal with the groupies?” she quizzed him.

“You don’t go out!” he said.

“Good answer!” she joked.

Bring it on- more ISAAK, we want more CHRIS ISAAK. Or would that be “Extra” ISAAK! Keep on with the MUSIC updates, and forget the trash reporting on Britney- she doesn’t do music anymore, or anything but pop out neglected babies.

You really missed the mark on this one. Carlos is from Indianapolis, it would have been fun to play that into the mix. Sorry but I was disappointed

You need to show more of Chris Isaak!!! Kenny would be fun too. If he is going to be a special correspondent for you then you should actually use him and show him on the show!

Katie Joel needs to find a different career. Could she be any more uncomfortable and rehearsed in front of a camera?

You had Chris Isaak as a guest commentator. He’s a star also and not one little comment or photo! Not everyone who watches Extra is 25 to 30!
