And then it turns out she had drugs in her system….

First let me say that I am not a fan of “trash” gossip shows on TV like Extra Inside Edition or the entire “E” Network but unfortunately this morning I was at someones home who had your garbage show on and I was disgusted to hear your report on Anna Nicole Smiths death. I can not believe that you can’t let people have peace even in their death. To hear you assume that there had to be drugs involved in her untimely death made me sick, the woman just passed away not to mention her son just passed away a few months ago and now her baby girl is left without a mother. I realize that Anna Nicole led a less than angelic life but no matter what she may have done in her past I would have hoped that in her death you people could have shown the woman some respect. I do not understand how shows like yours are so popular I guess most peoples lives are so boring or miserable that they like to hear the sufferings of others. I myself couldn’t care less what Brittney Spears does or who she does, or any other stars, I believe that people like Anna Nicole, Tom Cruise and all other personalities are just their for us to enjoy their talents and when they are off camera and away from their respected talents they deserve to have privacy. Even the evening news has turned into trash TV and that makes me equally as upset, they would rather tear apart a person who has just been through a tragedy than to just report the story. I pray that someday soon TV will return to the days when trash TV like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich and Montel Williams and gossip shows like yours and “E” Entertainment TV are taken off the air completely. I bet that if one of your staff or the people involved in other trash tv shows ever suffered a tragedy and all the press could do was rip you apart and make assumptions about what happend you would be very upset, I pray that never happens and you all do well but really don’t you think you could better serve the public by being on a respectable news show and not trash or gossip TV.
