Is Katherine Heigl Quitting 'Grey's Anatomy'?

Insiders told “Extra” that Golden Globe nominated actress Katherine Heigl, who plays passionate Dr. Izzie Stevens, is reportedly unhappy with her contract status.

But has Katherine broken off all negotiations with the show?

Yes, according to People magazine, Heigl is in a salary dispute with the ABC Television Studio.

A source told People that Katherine is “disappointed and hurt” and that she doesn’t feel as highly valued as her co-stars. But will she quit?

Not according to ABC, who told “Extra” this morning they have a long-term contract with Heigl, have offered her a raise and consider Izzie to be an integral, valued part of the show.

“Extra” will keep you posted on the “Grey’s Anatomy” prognosis as it becomes available!

I think Katherine Heigi is a up and coming actress if her main job is to have you dislike her she has done her job and done it well

I am sorry to see Katherine Heigl leave the show I fill she had the one of the best story lines. I wish her well in everything she does in the future.

Man TR Knight is so cute, sweet,and loveable, no one is going to really care that he’s gay. He’s so adorable and brings that to his character on the show.

I think the women may only think…..dang he’s taken!!!! Or maybe his worst nightmare is them trying to convert him back. He is such a cutey pie he shouldn’t worry anymore.

As for his “co-worker”, man what a shame,because I liked his character on the show. He has great chemistry with the character Christine. Why he would say what he said, regardless of any situation is now going to ruin him for awhile.

I don’t know if it was intensional or not, but when you do or say anything that can potentially ruin someone elses career will always come back on you.

I hope he takes this incident as a lesson learned and uses better choices in the future.

I disagree. I hope they write Katherine off. Her character is useless. KH being white has nothing to do with her acting.I think you need to examine your views you sound like your the one who is racist. Just for the record homosexuality is not a race.

I love Izzy Stevens! I think she has had the best story lines on the show.
I do feel that Washington should be
asked to leave the show! I feel that if someone would have made a racial slur
against him that they would not have taken the matter more seriously. They
would proboly have been tared and feather!

Katherine Heigl needs to continue on Grey’s Anatomy. If anyone should leave it should be Washington! He has created such a negative situation on that set. I really can’t stand his face! Katherine backed her friend T.R. Knight and should be commended for it she should be paid much more than Washington his part is not at all interesting Sandra Oh and Washington look so awkward when they are together Sandra needs a new love interest! As for Katherine she is a beautiful white woman with a heart and adds a sensitive side to the show and Washington is a Black racist who needs to stick his head up his CAN!
