I, myself, have gone through much of the same things Anna Nicole did. I had a case of chronic depression and I had so much in my life going on I became overwhelmed. I started taking Rx drugs after a failed major back surgery. I subsequently went through 4 more failed back surgeries and I’m left in severe pain from nerve damage and complications that arose from all the surgeries. I was then diagnosed with Lupus and Hashimoto’s disease which attacks your thyroid. I suffer extreme fatigue as a result of this, along with many other symptoms too numerous to mention.

I have Raynauds Phenomenon, Narcolepsy and a digestive problem. Needless to say, I had many doctors (when I lived in CA) for each disease. I saw a pain mgmt doctor who, after trying every non-narcotic known to man plus many other, he finally put me on Oxycontin in VERY high doses, strong muscle relaxers for my Lupus and also had to take high amounts of Benadryl for the chronic itch you can get from Oxycontin. I also was given Xanax to calm my nerves. I also had to take Clonopin for restless leg syndrome,
My pain mgmt Doc would write me an Rx for 360 Oxycontin each month PLUS, a lower dose Oxycontin for break through pain between my regular dose of 80 mg Oxys (of which I was taking 12 a day of). He wrote me for 360 pills of the lower dose Oxy each month as well. He would then write my Rx for my muscle relaxers in the amount of 180 per month. At times I would have over 2,000 Oxycontins at my house. He told me to continue getting the RX filled each month and just lock the extras away so I would have them in case of a robbery, a mishap such as spilling the bottle into the sink where they would become useless if wet. He also said to keep them in case of any major catastrophe or terrorist attack. So I did.

I was mixing everything….taking 6 - 80 mg Oxy’s in the morning, 3 muscle relaxers in the morning and then 5 Benadryl to ease the severe itch. Then I would have bouts of pain throughout the day so I would take 12 - 30mg Oxy’s around noon or 1 pm. If I suffered Restless Leg, which I had often which also affected my arms, I would take 2 - 2mg Clonopins 2-3 times daily. Every morning I had to take Provigal, an amphetamine, to keep me awake throughout the day. I was on high doses of Effexor for my depression, Prevacid for my reflux, thyroid supplements which did nothing because the Hashimotos had turned my thyroid into crystals and I could not find a doctor who would put me at a high enough level of synthetic thyroid to make any difference in that problem. I find it ironic though that they had NO problem writing me for such large amounts of pain meds and muscle relaxers.

Eventually, I believe my pain mgmt doctor must have lost his license to practice medicine because when I showed up for my scheduled appt with him, the doors were locked and a simple note on the door read, “Please contact so-so MD for your pain mgmt needs. I have chosen to retire”. That was it! I believe he was on meds himself because he always seemed out of it of just looked glassy eyed.

I feel terrible for Anna Nicole because had she had the luck of finding just one MD who cared and watched her carefully and was careful with his prescription writing, she may well be alive today.

I look to her death as a lesson to change my life…….

She put herself in the LIME LIGHT. She wanted attention,love,love any way she could get it. She made the mess of her own life . Any time anyone tried to help her she took flight away from them. She started her own drug problem at an early age. When her Mother(Virgie) stepped in and placed her away from the group of people,which were no good for her to be with. Virgie did not put her ouy. She was trying to her daugter. So Vickie seen as being put out. Later her Mother tried to get help for her at The Betty Ford Clinic. Which apparently did not help either. Larry Birkhead tried to help also , she took flight from him also. Remember she and her beloved son Danniell had an arguement and she put him out of the home in Calf. ( I wonder if that arguement had anything to do with Howard K Stern’s. Did Stern’s think Danniell was a threat to him? Guess we will never know , being as Danniell can not tell anyone.)My guess is Danniell was saying something to his Mother(ANS) about the amount of drugs she was taking.Along with the fact that Larry Birkhead was wanting a DNA test done. So ANS tok flight to South Carolina first. Then with the help of Ford Shelley in every way possible,(money,private jet flight, home and more money to live on) helped her to get to the Bahamas. I do not believe she would have staied there for life. She liked the media,press to much for that. Plain and simple she was running from a court order from a Calf. She was a US citzen she had not established citzenship in the Bahamas. So Dannielynn was just born in the Bahamas that alone does not make a ctizen there. And danniell did not go over there with his Mother he just happened to die there(how sad).The only place he knew as home wa Texas and Calf. ANS did not purchase the plots . Howard K. Stern did. Now that Danniell and Anna are buried there in land that Howard K Stern’s owns, their bodies belong to him. Oh he sly like a snake . And what women or Mother would sign a Will to only one child and deleting any other childern. Unless she ahd another child out thewrhere somewhere she did not want the world to know about. Remember her interview with ET about her have a striper pole put in the home in the Bahamas. Because she was going to get bach in shape to make a come back.

I can’t blame Vergie, none of us can for how ANS turned out there are plenty of people out here that have had bad parents and are upstanding, productive citizens(not saying Vergie was bad because this is something we just don’t know) When our children grow up some of them no matter how well we have taught them they stray. Wrong crowd, wrong choices, and very bad people . It’s not the parents fault. If the parent want you to do the right things, we run away from our parents loving arms right into the arms of the one that lets you do what you want. Especially if they have and can get total control over you and use you. In this case drugs and money. Drugs at her every whim so you mothers out there open your eyes and stop trying to blame Vergie. Some children or strong willed from the moment that they enter this world, from the time that they can walk and talk. They have a mind of their own and there is nothing we as a parent can do about it. We can only continue to give them all the love that we have, sometimes love does not work, and sometimes it does. But I truly belive Vergie loved her daughter even thought they were estranged. I’m not just pulling this out the air. I come from a family where there were eight childeren. With a mother and a father. Both working parents. My mother was the best. You couldn’t ask for a better mother she loved us all to death and would defend us from Satan himself. She instilled very good qualities in all of us. Taught us to love , share and treat people as we would want to be treated. Not to steal not to take advantage of another person, basically all the teachings of God. But with all that love I had two sister that went out there and started drugs. A school teacher introduced one of them to the world of drugs. The one sister was a very sweet giving person and she was constantly being used by people. My mother would go get them from some fility, run down roach rat infested place time after time. Bringing them home kicking and screaming. Some of the things that they would say to and about Mom and rest of the family would leave the rest of us dumb founded. Boy could they tell lies. We would stand there in amazement and wonder did these same people grow up with us, or where were we when these things that they spoke of supposely happen. In actuality they never happen not at all. It was the frugs and them trying to get back to these enablers When my mother passed in 2002 at the age of 68 the one sister was so heart broken she passed in 2003. And no it was not from a drug over does she was heart broken she was 40 yrs old. So you see it’s not always a bad parent that makes a child go in the wrong direction. There are outside factors. HS is no more than a pimp and a scoundrel. HS take the DNA this can really end a bad situtation

First of all, I’m going to miss Anna Nicole Smith. She was the life of the party. She was rich, beautiful, and full of personality and it made her a unique spectacle. I am deeply saddened by her death and I can sense what she was going through. Nothing should be a mystery here. Putting all MONEY, (which IS the root of all EVIL) aside, consider the fact that she lost her son which had to have devastated and depressed her, she just had a baby which undoubtedly brought on additional post partum depression, she was already struggling with drugs, court battles, accusations, lonliness, being unable to trust people, issues with mother, trying to be a mother, and more money than she could’ve ever imagined before she hit it big. She obviously had the best of intentions for her life but the weight of all these things was too much for her and should be too much for any human being. But much of society didn’t look at Anna Nicole as a human being but instead as a wealthy gold digging silly playboy model. Depression is real, it hurts, and it can kill you if you don’t acknowledge it well. The weight of all the drama in Niole’s personal life simply too much for her to bare but who amidst all the evil surrounding her would know that but GOD? She had no REAL friends. She just kept going like an energizer battery for her son Daniel, the real love of her life. I believe Larry Birkhead is Danielynn’s father because she looks like him. She does not have Howard Sterns NOSE! But she does have Larry’s eyebrows! I hope Larry and Danielynn unite and carry on with Anna Nicole’s memory and money. As for Howard Stern, there is something very sinister about him. He didn’t look right for Nicole and he doesn’t fit in this entire picture. God Bless Anna Nicole Smith and may she finally get to rest in Peace.

while everyone is out to crucify howard k stern, who in my opinion so far,is wanting to do the right thing and bury anna nicole by her son (the only person that truly LOVED her) why in God’s name hasn’t anyone said a cross word about her money hungry mother. if she truly loved her daughter, even just a little, she would want anna next to her son in the Bahamas. But even after death, her mother still wants to cause her misery. And its all because of greed. And while it may have come out in the courts about the Rx drugs that anna abused and Howard knowingly letting her take them, Anna was a grown woman. If she had it in her mind that she wanted to take those, then no one could of stopped her. I assume she probably took them to escape the reality of her life because everyone she came in contact with always had an opinion about her and took advantage of her, some more than others. And in the midst of everyone pointing the finger, the first and most important thing that needs to be done, before DNA and all the other BS, is burying her, because while everyone is trying to get a piece of the pie, her body is laying in a medical examiners office decomposing as we speak. That is not moral nor ethical in the eyes of any law or God. Ask yourself, is that how you’d like to be done after you die?

I just wanted to say that everyone should leave the whole Anna Nicole Smith thing alone. She died. Give her and her family a break. The only reason why people are involved with everything thats going on with the baby, howard and larry is because everyone is all about money.

I’am so heartbroken,Ilove Anna Nichole. I always will! I wish I could have met her,we could have been best friends and I never would have let this happen! With all the people around her nobody cared enough about her, all they cared about was her money! I believe Anna was just as BEAUTIFUL on the inside as she was on the outside! I can’t believe she is gone! I will MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU FOEVER ANNA!!!!!!!!!!!

It was brought to my attention to think about that possibly Anna Nicole Smith’s baby Danielynn was concieved by Smith’s late son Daniel. Does this seem to far fetched for Anna Nicole Smith?
