Dayna should come vacation in my South Florida home because I’m an entertainment news buff whose column has appeared in Star Magazine. I’ve already elbowed up to some of the most-recognized faces in the business as well as up-and-comers and I feel completely comfortable in front of the camera in-studio or in the field! I’ve also gained on-camera experience working for a local television station, so I know the art, and importance of, appearing conversational and camera-ready for viewers.

Shoot me an e-mail if you’d like to see my reel.

Thanks!
Sheena

I am perfect for this job because I am young and ready to work. I am 18 and have plently of experience being on camera because I am on my school broadcasting news team. I have a lot of energy and am just ready to break into the world of entertainment. I live at home with my parents and my brother. In my spare time I am working at Jamba juice, where I make smoothies, do dishes etc… I also am a full time high school student where I am serving my last year at the local high school. I have a wonderful boyfriend of 2 and a half years. I am willing to work hard and switch places with you so you have an inside look at today’s youth while I take your job in the entertainment industry. Choose wisely!!

I AM THE ONE TO PICK, DAYNA, AND HERE’S WHY: I am a thirty-something mother and wife who had to lay aside her CAREER AS A REPORTER after I was diagnosed with the incurable auto-immune disease, Crohn’s. Being a reporter was my passion and joy, but after I gave birth 3 years ago to my daughter Paris Rose, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s and had to have major surgery within 3 months of initial diagnosis. Since then I have focused my energies on raising my daughter and national awareness about Crohn’s disease and other auto-immune diseases. I would love to go back to reporting, EVEN FOR JUST ONE DAY, and to use my time to BRING ATTENTION TO CROHN’S AND OTHER AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASES. Crohn’s is incurable, but those of us living with it are undefeatable and have a strong joie de vivre. If that’s not enough, I’m also a military wife with a husband serving our country. I HAVE THE EXPERIENCE, THE DESIRE, THE PLATFORM AND THE AMERICAN DREAM. I’M THE ONE, DAYNA!!!

I DARE YA DAYNA!! I am a mother of 5. Their ages are 10,9,8,5,17 mos. My husband is a busy mortgage broker trying to keep the ship afloat in this crazy CA economy so he is rearly home to help. We also have 4 horses. The girls (8&9yr olds)go to dance. The 5yr old boy t-ball. I gave up a promising career as a national adv sales media planner to marry and have a family…but stalls need cleaning, lunches, diapers, dishes, meals, and oh my husband too! Just to escape for a moment in someone elses shoes and taste the glamorous tv life of Dayna Devon. I DARE YA DAYNA!!

I am 30 years old, Married, two wonderful daughters and have just won a battle with cancer. Osteosarcoma ate threw my right femur and I had to have it replaced back on March 16,2007. Because my leg broke back in November of 2006 I was on my back until my surgery.. With a wife that HAD to work and with very little help around the house, I was raising my children at taking care of my home while doing chemo and having a broken leg..(leg couldnt have a cast because chemo makes the skin to dry) I am now walking using my own power(no cane) and I am ready to take every chance life has to offer.. I am fun and energetic.. You would be amazed by my whole story and I would love to tell you all about it.. I would like to trade places with you because I NEED A BREAK!! HA! If anything, I could atleast chat with you and maybe give others that have cancer hope… Plus, who else you gonna pick? Someone that hasn’t had there femur bone replaced? HA!! Where is the fun in that? haha

Hey party people! I’m a 24 year old mother of 2! Happily married for 3 1/2 years to my wonderful husband Daniel. I’m an administrative assistant at a textile company in desperate need of a break! You should pick me because it was always my dream to be on television but, as you know, life happens and sometimes our dreams get pushed aside. Not that I would trade the people in my life for anything in the world. It would just be nice to catch a break and shine for a few moments. Thank you for considering me!

Hi Extra. I’m currently a second year PhD student with a one-year old daughter and a great husband who wouldn’t mind a change for a few days. I think it would be a blast to switch places with Dayna - tv entertainment report for student. Thanks for considering me.

I am ready for EXTRA!
I have been home for a year solid caring for my little 4 year old boy, who has Leukemia (and 2 other busy kiddo’s with tutoring, games, practice and 2 schools). It has been a long year of stress and worry but he is finally doing well and enjoying his childhood again! I am sooooo ready for a day of hard work at a TV studio, I watch the show religiously, and have met Dayna and Jerry back when I was on the junket circuit. I know I would make her proud!

It would be a pleasure to let Dayna take over the stress of 3 kids, and working my business as an actress (she probably has better connections!), if she is up for this crew, we are up for her!!

Extra, whoever is chosen, this is a great idea, us Mom’s need hope and what better gift than looking gorgeous and reporting on gorgeous people! Calgon take me away!

Thank you for the opportunity!

PS-Does Dayna have a Light Saber or a Spiderman costume? This would help…as well as some basic vampire folklore knowledge…KIDS! Not to worry, we will share.

My childhood dream was to be an entertainment reporter. My parents helped me all through high school to fulfill this dream and then were both tragically taken from me in a car accident. I went on to college determined to make my dream come true and graduated with my broadcasting degree. My senior year however, I met and fell in love with my soul mate and the love of my life. I went on to be a mother to his already son and have two gorgeous girls of my own. I am now a kindergarten teacher but will never forget about my dream and the dream my parents had for me as well. Help me Dayna, I’m dying to let the other me come out on t.v. and get a break from the daily grind of dealing not only with my kids but the kids I teach. CHOOSE ME, EXTRA!!!! I’M A DAYNA WANNABE…
My lifelong dream was to finish my Radio and TV Broadcasting Degree and become a TV broadcaster. Well, as the love story goes…my husband and I met when I was only 20. Four months later he popped the question and we were married within a year. I moved from Columbus, Ohio to his home in small town Ohio. My hopes of broadcasting were put on hold and now 14 years and two kids later my dream still lingers in my heart, feeling pretty unattainable at this point! My new career in radio began as a part time broadcaster on weekends and within the last year has moved into full time sales and production of radio ads. (Just a small taste of that hard to reach dream!)

We seem to always have the TV on when I’m home with my family getting dinner ready, cleaning or doing laundry and I just can’t help but wish that I was the one being watched on TV with my own talk show or news broadcast. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CHANCE TO SWAP PLACES WITH DAYNA!! How awesome it would be to get the chance to be on the other end of the TV for a change while Dayna’s doing my laundry :)! The good news is that I have a very helpful husband who may make life rather easy for Dayna while she’s here but I’ll be sure to leave my demanding job, family and chores behind for her, just in case!

Extra, I promise, you would not regret choosing me to swap with Dayna! This chance would absolutely be the best experience of my life and would make Dayna even more thankful for her glamorous life! Please choose me for the swap!

Thanks,
Cyndi Newman

I deserve to change places with Dayna because I’am the face of Television.I have always wanted to see what it would be like to be a celebrity just for one day and I would like Dayna to see what I go through in every day life how I struggle but still maintain and I live pretty decent. I would shine for Dayna and make her proud and Extra Tv. I told my mother that one day she would see me on Television before she leave this earth. If I was choosen that would make my mother proud of me because of my life extra. I feel like I’am Dayna hope I would be the one to get that lucky chance. But Dayna would still feel like she is Hollywood if she come to my house lol. Thank you Extra for your time

Hi…Quick FYI about myself…I am a single mom who has put myself through school twice…Once for early childhood and the second for medical asst…I received no child support through most of that time and was fortunate enough to have the support of my family(which includes a brother that is a quadraplegic)and parents that I would not have been able to be where I am today…I made it through a horrible abusive marriage and met the man of my dreams, which I am still currently with…Thank you for your time and consideration for my postings….Teri Collins
