I think it’s an absolutely great idea. I watch your show every single day that I can catch it, and an absolutely crazy about celebrity gossip. I even gossip abou celebrities with my husband, even though he doesn’t listen half the time, and I even cry every time I hear a celebrity has died. My husband works security at night, so try being at home alone in the middle of the night, with a 6 year old, trying to job hunt on the computer and do house wife duties and being a newly wed. I would love to try your job for a day. It is one of my goals in life to have a job talking about celebrity gossip. I am the gossip queen.
Hey Extra!!!!! You need me to swap places with Dayna. I know i have what it takes to do her job but i think the true question is does she have what it takes to do my job. My main job is a stay at home mother. I am a widow with 4 kids, ages six - 18 months. I also have a part-time job as a model. I would love to be given the opportunity to be dayna for a day!!!!!!

Hello Dana, I am a 42 year wife and mother of 2 grown children. This is my 2nd marriage. In my younger days I was voted “Best All Around.” I went away to college, got pregnant, dropped out of school, got married and lost everthing about myself trying to please someone else. I allowed my 1st husband to control everything about me. He was physically and verbally abusive. When I was approached about a modeling and spokesperson opportunity, he couldn’t see his wife doing that. Eventually we divorced and I struggled to raise our kids. Sixteen years later I met and married a wonderful man who encourages me to be all that I can be. I feel stagnant right now, everything is good in my life..but I still wonder what could have been or if I had what takes? I know if I am selected, it will fulfill my life and I won’t have to wonder anymore about what could have been. Personally, I would like to see you handle some of my residents (smile)! Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Dana Come and see what cold can be! I am a newly wed in Montana, covered in snow and cold to the bone. I work in a parts store with all men, think you could hack it? I am an open slate ready for TV, very open person with a great sense of humor. I’m very happy with my life but would like a taste of the other half before I have too many family obligations (we are trying to have a baby).

I want to give the Dayna the chance to change in her jimmy choo heels for a pair of combat boots and to make “camo” the new black. Not only am I a firefighter’s wife, I am also a mother of two beautiful children and a full time advertising account executive. My husband works 24 hour shifts with the fire department, which leaves me a single Mom every third day. Dayna, I challege you to be me for a day! After almost 10 years of kids, laundry, dishes, cleaning, kids baseball practice, kids basketball practice, and endless homework I AM SPENT! I would love nothing more than a day in Hollywood. I am the one to pick. I am 36 mom of 3. Two boy and one girl. Ages are from 6 to 11. We live in PA, for 1 year. Both my husband and I are ex Navy. He was in Italian Navy and I in the US Navy. He is currently a helicopter Pilot and yes, he is Italian. I did my years in the Navy and I worked as civil service for the Gov for 10 years. Now I decided it was time to be a stay at home mom. Moving around Italy and America working hard and long hours for the Gov and working hard to juggle my childrens school,activities and being a dedicated wife. Now more then ever I would love to have one day to be in Dayna world this would be such a gift.

EXTRA, EXTRA, come and get it, your TV host for a day is in the house!!
Can’t find anyone to ask that awkward, personal question, well I can! I’ll ask anybody anything. The more braisen the question the better…why? Becuase the answer is just as unexpected and spontaneous as the question!! I should know, I do it all the time!
I also have a zest for life and am known as being warm, goofy and very animated by my friends and family. I also appreciate these qualities in TV hosts who are able to get straight to the point, deliver information in a professional manner and have fun doing it. Tanika Ray is especially good at this and is therefore my favourite Extra host. I am confident I can deliver in the same manner because I know my strengths….I have presence, I am professional, honest, natural, and most importantly, I am myself!
I can also deliver information well thanks to my educational background. Yes Extra, I am not only capable, I am also smart…Bonus!! I hold an honours B.A. in Media and Popular Culture Communications. I have extensively studied television and broadcasting, celebrity culture and much more. My schooling has also fine tuned my public speaking and presentation skills, something I take pride in. I have plans to continue my education in Broadcasting-Journalism in the near future.
I also have hands-on work experience in television as I worked as a Production assistant/talent wrangler for Deal or No Deal Canada last year.
My main reason for participating in this contest is becuase being a TV host is my dream job. This is a huge opportunity to actually fulfill my dream for a day. My true goal is to make this my future, and become a well known TV personality. I wan’t to participate in television rather then be on the receiving end. Can you imagine, a celebrity TV host from Brampton, Ontario, Canada…..you probably can’t, but I sure can!!
