I have many role models, Jessica Simpson-Alexis Bledel, but Tyra has made it to the top of my list for being proud of who she is and proving that you can be curvy and still beautiful. I mean, look at her-she doesn’t care what the press says. She knows she’s beautiful and she’s not afraid to flaunt it-even if shes not as skinny as Nicole Richie. lol

That is what is wrong with these young girls today. They expect that every girl is to be a size 0-2 and think its beautiful and its actually nasty. looking like a stick, thighs don’t touch, and no curves aren’t attractive. I’m 140, 5’3 flat stomach and have a 12mo old daughter. i was 128 2 yrs ago and i was confident with my body. Tyra can do what she feels. She don’t have to prove herself. She is gorgeous, inside and out. So those who dream to be those Lindsay Lohans or Nicole Richies, You are out of your mind!!! Tyra keep it up. Curves are in, Straight is out!!

Tyra Banks is fat! Why she wore that ugly brown bathing suit was to cover her flab. Girl, cover up and don’t even think of wearing skirts above your knee. You want curves, I’ll give you dangerous curves…Ms. Halle Berry!!! Now that is beautiful, successful and fioone woman.

Tyra says she has to make a point and respond to the media. Why? If she cares, why not add diet and excercise to her life. I will tell you why, cause she does not want too. This is about her and nobody else. She can mention all the little girls she wants but this is about her. While she is still pretty, she could look better. I would never go on tv with those massive thighs! Her problem is she is a former model, television host, hence, a celebrity. Of course she is going to be attacked.
Cindy Crawford has a very curvy body and with two children. She looks amazing and has been able to retain her figure. If she is going to follow Oprah’s steps; she should be able to walk in them and address it like Oprah!

First of all, Tyra is a big-bone girl & should stop taking this all personal. She is a celebrity, a former high fashion model and must endure the pros and cons that come with it. Fact: she has gained alot of weight not a little weight as she claims. She was more attractive when she weighed less. However, this by no means suggest she is not attractive. She is still a very attractive woman. I feel all this drama coming on tv and declaring war is a publicity stunt. Like most models she is insecure. Why not handle this in a more refined manner? After all she knows who she is, doesn’t she? A confident and successful person who does not need to address tabloid articles!
P.S. Whenever I gain weight, you can be sure some ignorant person is going to tell me. And while I may be in the minority as oppossed to majority where I am blessed to put negative ideas out of my head. The fact is momentarily it bothers me, but I never let anyone see how it effects me. If I was a celebrity, I know I would not have handled it the way Tyra did. She says she speaks for millions of girls or women. Personally, sometimes I think Tyra tries too hard. I mean watch her show.

Tyra is the most beautiful person no matter what size. It is so refreshing to hear someone of her stature speak so candidly of such a serious problem. Too many women in this world are subjected to urealistic images in the media. And feel that they must be a certain way to be pretty. Everyone contains beauty in thier own right. weather it be their beautiful face, their beautiful, waist, or their beautiful personality.

What I meant by my last comment is, are there women who accept men for the way that they are, because I’m having a hard time being accepted. Thank You Tyra?

I first want to say that Tyra Banks is extremely attractive no matter what photo, even if it is fake, every woman is attractive with some meat on their bones! With that comment, I was just recently dumped by a girl I truly loved because I believe I was overweight. Do women give up on a man because they can become overweight?

Leave Tyra alone. Why aggrivate the woman while she’s enjoying life. Actually she may be bigger on the picture but still beautifule. People are starving, sick kids are at St. Judes, we have flood victims and all you want to do is criticize a woman in a swim suit. GET A LIFE PLEASE

i applaude tyra for being herself,many people who are in the publics eye try to be someone that they are not and they themselves do not like. Tyra is a true original and will always be an inspiration to all people to be themselves. Thank you Tyra for being a true human being.
