Yes, but who can blame the "American Idol" judge for enjoying the sun-kissed Caribbean?

"Extra" spotted Judge Dread in the tropical paradise with his longtime girlfriend, and "Extra" correspondent, Terri Seymour.

The lovebirds spent time together soaking up the sun and waves before the newest installation of "American Idol" kicks off Jan. 16 on FOX.
