what is wrong with these execs… of course this would happen… think of whos the head writers… think of the deadline.. 6 months… who can pull a rabbit out of a hat… 6 months, feels like 6 weeks in the storyline…

if by miracle the show get put in, i’m not trying to hold any hope, because a lot of Big execs think they know better than we do, i means news… news dont make it to daytime unless its some major incident.. alot of people look to the soaps as a place to not to think of the big problems of the world… i hate that these big shots think that another hour is going to do the public good. first let me tell you one thing, Today ratings are as bad as the ones on CBS, and you think that this is going to help them at all. no, they cancelled AW after 35 years, they canceled Sunset for Passions, now they deciding to not do with soaps.. i hope that they all get fired… because ABC, And CBS is all we have left… i know passions didnt make sense.. but it still gave us a lot to think of whats wrong with everything… i never even knew that Today was even 3 hours, now its 4. please watch next thing, they do, is get all of the judges shows, and the talk shows on the network.. pretty much they’ll see where the money goes and went. Face it is all start and end with the dollar bills, how they get their bills paid, how the shareholders get the share in the cut… please… and when they see that NBC is the lowest rating network of all time, they do what they did to UPN and WB, they take it apart.. so let them canceled Passions. i hope that it does go on another network.. maybe it can happend, you never know.. let them try to get rid of the second highest show (Days) around. i do hope that Days give them a fight..because theyre is shameful, and plain stupid. i do hope they all eats the words, and they pawn all of the suits,and things, because for now on, they all going to be claiming underployment checks, they be turning over the mortages, they’ll just be like us, and when they want some entertainment, let them watch the NEWs, see what its like for us now. think to themselves, ” i wish they was something interesting on the tube, oh ding, maybe i watch a soap… but wait i dont get all of the veteran soaps, i need something quick to catch up… oh wait what happened to Passions, is it around. oh wait, i got rid of that.

Awww, don’t cancel Passions! I retired recently and I just got into the show, thanks to my daughter-in-law. She happens to have the best job in the world…stay at home Mommy. Nothing wrong with being home and watching those FAKE SOAP SHOWS.

Okay. I don’t understand why the heck the Today show needs another hour. Give me a break. The Today already had more than enough time. Another thing that was not taken into consideration was that alot of the viewers that watch PASSIONS are teenaged girls meaning that when PASSIONS comes on at 2pm most of the viewers are in SCHOOL. Meaning they can’t watch it, but due to a wonderful thing called TIVO/DVR they can still watch it. I hope that Passions is going to be shown on another channel with new episodes. AND THE WAY THAT NBC DEALT WITH THE WHOLE THING WAS PRETTY STINKING BAD.

Why make the Today show 4 hours long? I think it’s a stupid idea. I have been watching Passions since it first started in 1999 and have since. There are a lot of fans out there that love this show. Please Save Passions!

Please reconsider this decision to cancel passions and extend the today show another hour…i don’t understand why we need 4 hours of this show, isn’t three hours enough. I am not trying to put down the today show, but is not a very smart decision to make. i have read several petitions to save passions and there seems to be a considerable amount of people who intend to boycott NBC if this occurs. I will not say i will boycott NBC, but Passions and Days of our Lives are the only 2 programs that I watch, and I watch those in tandem, so if passions is cancelled, i will no longer have a reason to watch NBC programming at all. i hope that the executives in charge can find a way to save this show, so you don’t lose a large audience

Four hours of the Today Show is four hours too many. Save Passions or my entire family will boycott NBC!

cancel passions and make the today show 4 hours long. make the new 10am hour hard news, with brian williams or some other news anchor. since 10am est is the time that businesses and government are already open, you can interview the president or cabinet officials. not everyone has cable tv.

why did passions last so long anyway? a daytime serial with a dwarf and a witch? this is supposedly better than another world, which ran for 35 years and was critically acclaimed? i think not.

it’s time nbc got its act together and used what is the best news organization of the big 3 to produce a newscast worthy of its stellar reputation.

People we need to spread the word to people we know to NOT watch the Today show. If every Passions fan and their family boycott the Toda Show, then their ratings would go down and NBC would have to do something to solve this problem.

OMG NBC ya’ll had better undue this stupid decision, or JER better move Passions to another network or MY HOUSEHOLD WILL NEVER watch NBC programming again. Survivor and American Idol will get our attention. NBC ya’ll had better figure something out. This is messed up.

I have been watching Passions from day 1 and so have A LOT of other people and to cancel our favorite soap would be horrible.I really dont believe the TODAY SHOW needa another hour..3hrs is enough time.Us Passsions fans havent even gotten our pay offs from the show. We deserve to have Passions left on the air.
