Please save Passions!

SAVE PASSIONS! SAVE PASSIONS!! SAVE PASSIONS!!!!!! The Today Show puts everyone to sleep. No one watches it and for the three in Iowa who do, I’m sure they’re content with the three repetitive hours they already have. There’s no need for another hour to be tacked on, especially at the expense of cancelling Passions which is easily NBC’s best show! It’s my favorite and yes, it’s not perfect, but it’s still better than the Today Snorefest. Don’t give Today more - let Passions see many a tomorrow. SAVE PASSIONS! Cancel Martha to make extra room if need be, but NOT Passions!

dont cancel passions… and i have watched the today show and not more than 10 min. no excitement. passions is an awsome soap. and for me i just watch nbc on thursday nights and moday i watch hero’s …besides that i watch days.. i was into kidnapped and it was cancelled also… if nbc cancels passions i know i wont be watching any new things on there and also will never ever watch the today show… as that extra unneeded hour would have taken one of the best shows nbc has off the air… and speaking of soaps being taken off the air, i was upset when u cancelled 2 other soaps i watched which i enjoyed… another world and sunset beach…lets not make it a third thats taken off….SAVE PASSIONS

Save Passions! Are you kidding me? Four hours of the today show? How many people watch the first hour let alone four hours? Passions is the best soap on daytime. Why would you want to take it off the air?

I have a question that has been bothering me. The Megan Mullaly show was just cancelled for poor ratings so why not just use that hour for the 4th hour of news? Or a few of the half hour judge shows or duplicate airings of other shows? If Passions was cancelled for poor rating then that is what NBC should have said that is what it was cancelled for which to me would make more sense.

I have been watching Passions since Day 1 and since I actually work for a living during the day I use blessed technology to watch Passions when I get home at night. I’m not going to say my life will be over, but it will be a sad first week when the show is. At that point and time there will be only 1 other NBC show I watch, Heroes.

Passions is a show that hits the 18-32 demographic hard and I am sure that 95% of those viewer don’t watch the Today show at all. Not only do we get our news from other sources (mainly online news sources for me) where we don’t have to sit through fluff and commercials, but we are tech savvy. We have activities in our lives that prevent us from watching live daytime televison and the technology to watch the shows we love in our own chosen time slot. The demographic for the Today show is aging and will soon age away. At least they could say they once had Passions.

Please save Passions. I relish being able to escape the harsh realities of this world for 40 mins (1 hour minus commercials…Thank you DVR) with this non-sensical, off-the-wall, and purely ingenious soap.

How dare you try to take away the best show NBC has to add another hour to the most boring show…. the only reason I ever watch the show is when I AM TOO EXCITED ABOUT PASSIONS! I don’t know how you think it is ok to take something good and destory it for something boring.

and even though i don’t watch it anymore i want it to stay on because i think it is a very good soap and i agree with that lindsey girl ;)that it is the only soap that keeps me awake :P

and with chad and whitney, being siblings, not being siblings, etc. :P

theresa is my all time favorite character in this show, i love her, she is so protective of her kids.

although i have only watched it for a few years and now have stopped, i really think they shouldn’t cancel it because what will happen to all the people who watch it PASSIONS? they will be soo lost if they decide to watch another soap…

so wat i am trying to say is that they shouldn’t be cancelled :(

i hope people will take these messages about PASSIONS to heart and let it go on for at least another season :(

What the heck is going on here? I watch several soap operas a day but Passions is my number one! I love Passions and it’s the only one that is interesting and I have grown to love it more than Days of Out Lives. Also everyone on Passions is so hot! THis is the only soap opera that even guys I know love. I watch the Today show everyday and turn it off around 9am because it starts to get boring. Then I turn it on at 10 am because its the only local newscast in that time slot. I will be missing my local news….being bored for two hours instead of one, and won’t have my favorite show that brings me to another place in the afternoon. Take off Martha! Martha can be on for 30 minutes and Passions can be a 30 minute show.If NBC does this, I might just give up on being a stay at home mom and getting a job:(

I can’t believe they’re going to cancel Passions! All for what a 4TH HOUR of the Today show?!? Passiosn may be a little out there at times, but the fact of the matter is that people watch it. Isn’t that the important thing! Do not cancel passions!

theres just too many good things on passions that they cant just cut it off..

No one cares about the todayshow. and no one will want to spend 4 hours watching it. 100% of people would rather see passions.

What is going on in this world? The only soap I watch is being cancelled, for some stupid news show that no one in my generation watch. I’ve been watching Passions ever since 8th grade. I even scedule my college classes around the show. Whats next they going to cancel Heroes? These execs don’t even know waht the viewers want.
