there is no reason to cancel Passions! It is a great soap, and so many people love to watch it! i dont see the point in adding a fourth hour to Today. its bad enough that it its already 3 hours long, why make it 4???? theres no sense in that whatsoever! DON’T CANCEL PASSIONS!!!!

please do not allow passions to be cancelled… I know you think that adding a fourth hour of the today show will increase your profit BUT really… 3 hrs is enough… what if you end up cancelling passions… AN AWESOME SOAP WHICH MANY FANS LOVE…. for a fourth hour of the today show which may not even be watched by the amount of viewers that you HOPE will watch… I mean YOU KNOW THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE A DEDICATED VIEWER BASE ON PASSIONS.. WHY RUIN THAT??

Save Passions. You’re letting down a lot of people. Sometimes it’s better to please the fans than the bottom line. Let us have daytime tv for that one hour.

I look forward to watching Passions every day. I never watch the “Today Show”, and adding a fourth hour will make the network seem like a 24 hour news network. If I wanted to watch four straight hours of news I would turn on a 24 hour news network.

I think you should keep Passions, espically since there are so many viewers that would be upset if it were not there to watch every day.

NBC: WHY do you want another hour of the worst talk show on the air? I have NEVER watched TODAY; nor do any of my family/friends AND WE CERTAINLY WILL NOT WATCH IT IN THE FUTURE

WE DO WATCH PASSIONS! WE LOVE IT! It’s funny and compelling; I love the characters, and many of the actors are great, very talented—Hartley, Martsolf, Masters, Ross, Tamargo and of course Mills AND MANY OF THE OTHERS TOO—great actors!

Can’t you switch PASSIONS to 4 PM so the kids can watch it? High schoolers love it (But so do many older folks—I haven’t been in hs for a long time!)

NBC—most of your shows are terrible—SNL hasn’t been good for over 20 years Yet you keep it on Don’t give up on PASSIONS I could do without ALL of your talk shows—esp that nauseating Rachel Ray—cancel her, PLEASE!

Please do not cancel Passions. I do not need to see four hours of The Today Show. I hear that the decision was about money. Well your daytime budget is out of whack because of the mega salaries of the journalists on the Today Show not because of the salaries of the actors and crew members of Passions. I have watched this show since the beginning and am begging you not to make the same mistake the CW did with Everwood. Cancelling a show with a sizable audience is never a good idea, you are disappointing so many people that have been loyal to NBC daytime soaps for years. I cannot afford to watch this show online and it would not be the same but if this is the only options then so be it. PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ON THE AIR!

the “today show” doesn’t need a fourth hour. their show is fine the way it is. i think that JER can get creative if he really tries. i think that you should save passions! the ratings could always bounce back up soon.

Please save Passions!

I am a stay at home mom who’s husband is gone much of the time. Passions is one of my few guilty pleasures I allow myself after my kiddos have gone to bed. I really don’t think that the Today show needs another hour. 4 is really overkill.

Don’t cancel Passions. I won’t be watching the Today show and have been telling others not to either. If Passions leaves I probably won’t be watching NBC either.

Personally I think a fourth hour of any show is too much. However, since NBC is never going to listen to us fans about keeping Passions on instead of adding the fourth hour to the Today Show, please air Passions on a common network that most cable packages have! Something like the CW, because Soapnet isn’t a regular channel that most people have. Also, please let the same actors keep their roles!!!!

You know a soap will always have viewers very loyal ones.. and sponsers should know that there are so many of us out there that watch this show and buy the things they advertise just becuase it comes on during our soap!! Who in the world wants 1 hour of the Today show let alone 4!! OMG! That is messed up! Passions def needs to stay on the air! There has to be a different show they can “sacrafice”. Like any of those dumb dumb reality game shows! Deal or No Deal, Identity, Fear Factor—any of those can go, just not Passions! Or what about some of the “Primetime” crap—My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, ER, show like that!!

We should save passions it is the best soap opera out there. We do not need a 4 hour long today show which only the nerdy and old watch.
