Please save Passions. It is a great show with a great fanbase.

I’d like to say I am a huge fan of Extra. As one of your faithful viewers I’d like to ask for your help in saving Passions! I’m a stay at home mom of three and don’t get much time to myself. The only hour during the day that I get I spend folding laundry while watching Passions. It lets me escape and unwind and I am really upset that its being cancelled for one and two that there will be another hour of the Today Show. Thats absolutely ridiculous! Noone will watch it for that long they’re lucky they have viewers for the first three! I just cannot believe they do not care about what us viewers think! It really bothers me and when the fourth hour of today show brings less viewers than Passions what are they gonna do then? If this show is cancelled then I won’t watch this channel anymore I will watch ones that are more viewer friendly.

Who needs another hour of the Today show?! Passions was doing just fine until someone thought of that bright idea. Leave Passions on the air. Don’t turn your back on it’s loyal viewers. It creates anger to know that they are not taking it off the air because of poor ratings, but because another show needs another hour. 4 hours! Ridiculous! Passions doesn’t deserve this.

I never watch the today show and we do not need four hours of news. we have news in the morning and we have news in the afternoon and we have news in the evening how much news does a person need.
please keep passions and get reed of some of the afternoon news. or better yet get reed of some of the paid programes in the early morning nobody watches those shows anywhy.

I have watched this show since day one , and as campy and silly as it can get ( Charity talking to trees and such ) I love it . I am a member of iVillage and I personally find the show BORInG , if you feel the need to continue with yet ANOTHER hour of The Today Show , maybe you could axe iVillage Live ?!

Please save passions…i see absolutely no reason why we need another hoyr of the today show. I have never watched that show, but it seems to me like there isnt enough NEWS to fill 2 hours of the show, much less 4 hours. I understand that the executives believe that this is a money maker for them, but i am seeing that there are a lot of passions fans threatening to boycott nbc if they cancel passions…I will not have to boycott the station as the only shows that i watch on nbc are passions and days of our lives, but if they cancel passions i will no longer feel the need to watch nbc. i will refuse to watch any nbc programming. oh well, i guess that is boycotting. anyway passions has alot of very loyal viewers, and i hope that our protests to this cancellation are duly noted….please save this show. you could try to sell it to another network, or continue it in another forum or put it on a station that is a part of the nbc network

Just forgot to say one more thing, I’ve never heard of the Today Show in my LIFE and expanding it will probably lose NBC millions of dollars with the loss of viewers. Why don’t they take off an hour of the Today Show and add it another show, like, I don’t know… PASSIONS?!?!?!?!

What a shame. Passions was great. Its sad that NBC would do this to so many loyal fans…and replace it with another hour of that crap? Get rid of Reilly…and keep Passions on the air!!! SAVE PASSIONS!!

I am a happily married 30 year old mother of two and I absolutely LOVE watching Passions! I have been watching faithfully since day 1, July 5, 1999. It was one month after I got married and I was hooked the first day! I work full time but I Tivo it everyday and watch it at night. My 6 year old daughter even knows all of the character’s names. Please don’t cancel the show!

Passions has become one of the most insipid shows on TV. Cancel it and let some really great actors move on to roles that will do them justice.

I don’t understand why nbc can’t take the hour from a different show. Isn’t paid programming on in the early hours of the morning or how about the extra run of jay leno. I don’t really think the today show really needs another hour. I have been watching passions since day one and to me passion’s is so different than any other soap. All the other soaps are alike. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. it’s so crazy but i love it.
