I have been watching passions sence day 1! and i have never even heared of the todays show untell i heard that passions was going off air! i will never watch your network again if passions goes off air! who wants to watch 4 hours of news!!!!!!

Cancleing passions is a mistake! its my favorite show in the whole world!! Don’t cancell passions! it is the best show on tv. it has story lines like no other show ever made! the characters are amazing. I started watching passions a few years ago, after my friends have convinced me that it was worthwhile to watch. I watched it once and was hooked. it is my Favorite show in the world! please don’t cancell it~~!!!

It’s not right to cancel Passions just so a morning show that is too long to begin with can add an extra hour. I don’t see why they have to take that hour of programming out of the afternoon. Even if it was on in the morning, it’s a mistake to cancel Passions. It’s the only show of it’s kind. I don’t know what I’d do with out it.

Face it guys NBC cares only for themselfs and not their viewers

Who in their life would want to sit through four hours of the Today Show. There are very few things that ring in my mind as being utterly painful.

Yeah, soaps aren’t the most intelligent viewing material on the air, but Passions has an enormous fanbase. I think soap operas are ridiculous and a waste of time, but even I got sucked into it.

Cancelling Passions shows the viewers just how much NBC cares about them and their favorite programs. Where are these people that requested four hours of the Today Show? Of course, they don’t exist. Maybe Meredith Viera maybe wants a bigger paycheck for being the most obnoxious, unlikeable TV personality on the planet??

Greedy, greedy, greedy.

Cancelling Passions for another hour of the Today show is not right.

Who needs another hour of the Today show?

Why in the world would the Today show need another hour? I think you should cut back 2 hrs on the Today show! Not all of your viewers care for that show. It is so not fair for you to take a good show (Passions) off the air and give that hour to another show. What’s wrong with you people? I will tell you (NBC) this you guys keep cancelling good shows if Passions gets cancelled, I will NEVER watch your network again because what good would it do me all your gonna do is cancel in a few years. It would do you all at NBC some good to have your network snatched out from under you.

PLease keep Passions going - this is a great soap that is really hitting its stride! Please do not let it go to waste!

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in NBC, didn’t they learn anything when they cancelled “The Pretender” and “The Others” on Sunday nights a few years back? This was a great 2 hour block where we were home watching and riveted to our seats and they threw it all away for what, sunday night movie!

I would hope that someone at the network is able to see that neilson ratings are not accuate and can not be used as a true measure of just how loved this show is by so many.

This is just one more slight to the daytime fans. The powers that be complain that soaps are losing money but yet time and time again we are slapped in the face with their disrespect when they interupt the soaps to beat the same dead horse for 30 minutes and call it late breaking news (how about a 2 minute break in and scroll it at the bottom).

ABC promotes it soaps (Super Soap Weekend) yet NBC does nothing. If we want to see the talented stars from PASSIONS we have to wait for another venue to book them in. Some one should let hte networks know that soap fans are tired of being treated like second rate viewers and many of us will not contine to take it. They need to realize that when they show us some support and then we will show support right back back.

Networks want us to be loyal viewers and stay tuned in so they can get the advertising dollars but how about you show us some consideration and stop interrupting the soaps for every little thing and actually put some money into promoting your soaps so that we can interact and even give you more of our money and attention. Please don’t cancel PASSIONS, this is a great show that can do great things if allowed to continue. However if you must do (it to repeat the same information already given out earlier for an additional hour) then please allow PASSIONS to live on in some other venue so that we their loyal fans are able to continue to show our love and support to the talented actors of this AWESOME show.

Does the Today Show really need four hours? Passions is being cancelled because of it. Passions is important to a lot of us fans! It’s my favourite show and I want it to stay on air.
