Ok I know that NBC is not doing so hot in the ratings at the moment…do you really think that FOUR HOURS of the Today show will improve that?? Only if the TV stays on because everyone fell asleep during the first 20 minutes. Most Passions viewers are in the younger demographic and so cannot stay home and watch the show everyday. We have to tape it or watch it online later, and so we don’t show up in the neilsens. Give the viewers a chance, I know that there are many, many more fans than show up in the ratings. Give the show a chance, I know the network would not regret it. Bring in a new headwriter for heaven’s sake, before you can the show!

Four hours of today show how boring I guess I will change the channel at that time. Love Passions and the time slot it is in. Don’t change what is already good for your viewers. Passions is so entertaining. I Love the witch and her baby on Passions. I love the Dance segment they did on Passions. We LOVE PASSIONS.

Have anyone noticed that this article is suppose to be for ‘THE TODAY SHOW’ fans? This is suppose to get the viewers of the show excited for the fourth hour, but it seems like it has turned to a boycot to keep ‘PASSIONS’ alive. I don’t blame you all. ‘m a fan of Passions and the show deserves to stay on. It’s unique, different, and is the only soap that attracts to younger viewers. As for the TODAY SHOW, 4 hours is a bit too much. I personally stop watching the show after the 1st.

I agree with the last two comments. I think Meredith is better on ‘The Today Show,’ but I think ‘Passions’ is better than ‘The Today Show.’ 4 HOURS!? I mean really, 3 is enough. Don’t they already have MSNBC? I think it’s rediculous that they are taken ‘Passions’ off for a fourth hour of ‘The Today Show’, and so does 99.9 percent of the people commenting. I also think ‘Passions’ would do good on primetime like a commentor stated. Please help keep ‘Passions’ alive somehow! That spin off idea of ‘HARMONY HIGH’ even sounds good.

Why take Passions off the air? You took Sunset Beach off and that was a good show and now you’re taking Passions off. Your network makes no sense. No wonder you’re consistently last in the ratings. If you take Passions off the air, in order to chase the boomer demographic, that’s wrong. There are other age groups out there that matter. Try bringing things they like to the table. Leave Passions on the air and leave Today at a 3 hour format. Today isn’t that good of a show, anyway, and they do too many fluff pieces. Although Meredith is alot better than Katie but Passions is better than the TODAY Show.

I HATE the today show.
There is no need to have a fourth hour to the today show.
The only reason I watch nbc is because of PASSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please don’t take Passions off!

I watch the Today Show every morning while making breakfast, but four hours is a bit much! I also watch Passions. I have a group of women in the neighborhood that takes turns eating lunch at each others home and watch Passions. If you take Passions off we will stop watching your station altogether! If you need to remove a program take Maury off (Springer copycat). Maury was a decent program at one time but is now like Jerry Springer trash. In an interview between Connie and Maury, the impression I got was she didn’t care for his show (But that is my opinion).

passions has been one of my favorite shows since it first came on, i remember when another world and sunset beach were on, they also were favorites of mine and all of a sudden just got canceled, i think it is wrong that nbc can just up and do this, there might be alot of people who dont like this show but there are ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO DO LIKE THIS SHOW!! as for the today show i dont whatch it like alot of people on here dont whatch it, it usually contains alot of people talking about something they really know nothing about. but then again there are people who whatch it, so i say keep them BOTH ON!! BUT I FOR ONE WILL NOT WHATCH ANY OF THE TODAY SHOW IF IT HAS ANY PART WITH TAKING PASSIONS OFF!!! AND PROBABLY WONT WHATCH NBC AT ALL, AND WILL PROBABLY HOPE THAT DAYS GETS MOVED TO ABC IN 2009!!!! BECAUSE THEN I KNOW YOU WILL LOOSE ALOT OF VIEWERS!!!! KEEP PASSIONS++++KEEP VIEWERS!!!!

I have been a closet Passions fan since the beginning. Please save my only favorite show. Passions is the reason I got a DVR. Please consider the fans….Save Passions!!!!!!!

All i have to say is that there is no reason for me to watch nbc anymore if they take Passions off the air, except for HEROES. I am verry upset.

I am so very upset about Passions being taken off the air. I have watched the show since 1999, day one. I really cannot image, not being able to see the happenings in Harmony everyday. Please bring our Passions BACK!!!!! Please!!!!

I tune in to the Today show from time 2 time when I’m even up that early, but mostly I miss it because I’m sleep, and I sure have never watched the entire 3 hours of the Today show. What makes you (NBC) think I am going to watch 4 hours of it collectivly? Also I read somewhere that Meredith and Matt aren’t even going to be apart of the 4th hour. Meredith more so will not be apart of the 4th hour of Today show. So what’s the point of adding it NBC? You guys sure are trying to grab every Nielson rating you can aren’t you?

I been watching passions since it first began… Please Don’t let go of my only fav soap opera… I Don’t even watch “Today” and adding an extra hour to cancel Passions?? Let the people of “Today” Have there DAY without the extra hour…

I like Passions, it’s a WILD & CRAZY SOAP..and it makes me laugh alot of times, with the funny & crazy stuff that goes on. with the witch craft and all the other things…KEEP PASSIONS ON NBC!!

I can’t believe this news that you are cancelling passions espeacially after all these fellow fans left so many comments about how upset they are.
I’ve watched passions since summer 1999 with one of it’s first episodes. It makes me so mad that I love it. I tape it every day and come home every night to escape reality for an hour from my day to day job.
Please reconsider this! Adding a 4th hour of Today’s Show?!?! I haven’t ever watched one show of that. The only other show I watch on NBC is Deal or No Deal and I can live with out that. I’m with alot of my fellow fans.
