Former Miss Nevada Lashes Out at The Donald

Dethroned beauty queen Katie Rees is taking on Donald Trump, and the nasty feud caught on fire, right here on “Extra.”

In this explosive new interview, which took place inside Hugh Hefner’s Sky Villa at the Palms Casino Resort and Hotel, the former Miss Nevada USA blasted Trump for giving her the boot after racy photos of her were posted on the Internet.

“I feel like there was a huge double standard given,” Rees told “Extra’s” Carlos Diaz. “I asked for a second chance, and it wasn’t given.”

Katie’s scandalous photos surfaced just days after Trump pardoned Miss USA, Tara Conner, in a tear-filled press conference. Trump allowed Tara to keep her crown and enter rehab, but he decided to pull the plug on Katie’s pageant dreams.

“There was nothing we could do about that problem; the pictures were really out there,” Trump explained at the time.

Rees agreed that the photos were extremely racy, but not enough to warrant her dismissal, in comparison to Conner’s behavior.

“I was not, and I am not, in rehab,” Rees charged. “I didn’t test positive for illegal drugs, and I wasn’t caught making out with Miss Teen USA.”

Amid the controversy, Rees still had kind words and compliments for The Donald.

“I admire him. I think he’s a smart businessman,” she admitted. “He did what he had to do; however, I do believe there was a double standard given.”

The 22-year-old beauty shared that Trump asked her to return the crown and submit her resignation from the throne on the same day the photos surfaced on the Internet.

Initially, Katie defended her title, “I said absolutely not. It was three years ago and in no way representative of the person that I am.”

She added, “We were just a few silly girls having a good time, just taking a picture and people were egging us on.”

Rees appears to be moving forward amid the scandal and has a positive outlook in regards to her future and career. She hinted that Hefner has taken an interest in her, although she will not commit to posing for Playboy magazine… just yet, that is.

“For now I’m just working on getting out of the mold of the bad girl,” Rees said. “Because I am not a bad girl.”

She has a funky looking face…..she should go into the porn industry since that’s what she seems to be good at.

We see him regularly with young women, but since his wife has had the baby, she is not often seen. It’s as though he’s proved himself, and is now still acting like a playboy. None of us married women would take this kind of behaviour from our husbands.

No matter what Katie Rees has done, I can’t help but think that a society that sanctions the likes of Mr. Trump as role model for or judge of youthful behavior is one that’s gone far down the road toward decadence and decay.

Mr. Trump embodies all that is ugly about U.S. turbo-capitalism, and he’s hardly a paragon of family values or morality.

Let’s boot the repugnant Mr. Trump off the TV, and replace him with some appropriate role models for kids.

This irritates me. Katie Rees keeps focusing on this “isolated” incident (which has been proven to be more than one isolated incident), yet no one has EVER questioned why she moved from Florida to Las Vegas and what her lifestyle was in Las Vegas and the reputation that she has in that city. Isolated incident…. right….. keep telling yourself that Katie.

I do not see that she did anything illegal. at 18 you can do what she did and getting undressed in front of a camera is not illegal at the age she did now if she was 17 and trump wanted to fire her then I could see his point. being naked over 18 or taking illegal drugs or drinking under 21. trump needs to be consistant with his firings. I personally think he is getting his 2 roles mixed up LOL—-I also personally can’t stand trump and I totally side with Rosie on this —-he needed to stop the bickering with her like a day later

It is known on the pageant circuit that she was a wild one. The parents had a very displeasing sense of superiority and brag at our local Miss America Pageant. So it’s an odd group to begin with. She probably will become a Vivid girl before its over.

I was in a sorority with Katie Rees in college and she was just as wild then as she was in those photos. She worked at a bar in Orlando where they are practically naked and give guys “swing dances”. Not exactly a “classy lady.” All of this, “this was a one time incident” or “I am not a bad girl” is such a lie. Ask anyone who knew her at during her short stint at UCF.
