4.Bob Barr, Republican Congressman, sponsors Defense of Marriage Act. His second (of three) wives sued him for child support. She also claims he paid to have her to have an abortion.

5.Henry Hyde, Republican Congressman, pursued the impeachment of Clinton for lying about sex, had a 5 year relationship with a married woman.

6. Helen Chenoweth, Republican Congresswoman, was indignant over Clinton’s sexual behavior. Admits she had a 6 year relationship with a married man.

7.Mike O’Neal, Oklahoma state legislator, introduced a state version of Defense of Marriage Act. Was arrested for sexual battery after grabbing a woman’s buttocks

8. Bill O’Reilly, Televison commentator, who talks about morality in the US. Sued for sexual harassment.

9. Ed Shrock, Republican Congressman, opposes gays serving in the military. Accused of homosexual activity on the Internet

10. Neal Horsley, pro-life advocate who is also opposes homosexuality, admits to having sex with animals

11. Don Sherwood, Republican Congressman, was sued by a woman who claims he punched her repeatedly, pulled her hair, choked her. They were having an affair. He is married.

12. Jim West, former mayor of Spokane, supported ban on same sex marriage, supported a ban on gays working around children. Accused of sexual molesting two children. Admits to have sex with other men, but says he sexual orientation is nobody’s business.

13.Ted Haggard, outspoken opponent of gay “lifestyle”. Accused of having sex with a male escort.

14. Tom Foley, former member of Congress. Chair of committee dealing with abused children. Sends sexual emails to teen age boys.

Why are we spending so much time dealing with trying to get Isiah Washington fired???

All of this is a little crazy. Black people have been called everything under the sun by white people in this country since 1619 while gays in America looked on from the sideline. Now gays are using everyone elses struggle to lagitimize there sexual preferences.
They say that they are born gay, okay, Blacks were born black but they couldn’t hide their Blackness. Why should anyone get upset because a group that chose to hid something that they say is a part of their DNA for fear that they would be mistreated? Give me a break!!!

Just like I Suggested to quite a few people to turn the view off and we have. We are prepared to turn Grays Anatomy off also Who cares what your sexual preferance is? It is not about you. It is about good entertainment. Good entertainment means great rateings.If the media would let it go already the partys involved in this sensative matter could work this out MOVE ON to your next sensation.

I honestly believe that the media has a
lot to do with a situation that could have been handled withing the Grey’s organization. Although the show is successful, it would suffer if any of the actors were absent from cast. Washington’s character is why many watch the show. He brought life to “Preston” and no one could replace him.

Why isn’t anyone dressing the reporter who asked such a silly question during the Golden Globes. I think this is really silly. If you fire Isaiah you BETTER get rid of Rosie who offends everyone. What about what she said about Asian people by mocking their language….What is the difference. If Isaiah would have been called the N word would we still be talking about this? We had on occasion where a well known actor called several people the N word. There was a BIG stink about it for a couple of weeks and now you haven’t heard anything. But, Call someone a gay slur and we talk about it for months….This is totally riduclous…I love Isaiah’s character and I love the relationship he and Sandra Oh have on the show. Why doesn’t he have a MC Doctor name????? MC Hottie or Mc Yummy he’s a good looking man…why is it all the other men on the show get all the good names….what is up with that. ARE YOU BEING FAIR???? To ABC if you fire Isaiah over this I will no longer watch your show….I’m already upset that you changed the time on the East Coast for Lost from 9 to 10. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING……?????

i think it will be a stupid decision if abc fires Isaiah. he is a main character on Greys Anatomy while knight isn’t of ver importance. Get over it Knight is not a big deal if he said he’s sorry, it’s over get along. u are grown man it’s like my high school. if Isaiah gets fired i would eventually stop watching he show.

He has appoligized.
In our home we don’t watch any shows that have open gay subject, or actors who are openly gay.
I watched Grey’s Anatamy, but now that we know that the character George is gay in real life, we won’t watch the show again.
Soon, if the Gay community gets thier way, we won’t be watching any TV

I think you should fire both Isiah and Rosie and out themon a late night talk show on a chanel only shown where no one could see it.

No, I don’t think Isaiah Washington should be fired. I stongly disagree with his comments,however, we all make mistakes.
Isaiah asked for help and I hope ABC and his co-stars help him.

I don’t know why the media is making such a big issue regarding Isaiah comments, Rosie O’Donnell made comments on the VIEW regarding the chinese and their language.

I also cannot find the Wiggles tour informaation & locations. My Grandson is a huge fan (3yrs. old)& I would love to take him to a show to see the wiggles with bindi. Continue on Terri & Bindi, I also miss him & his work with the animals.

Mr. Washington should not be fired. I love him on the show & feel it would be a great lose without him & I dearly love his love mate on the show & think they make a great TV couple. Its unforunate that T.R.’s private life had to be brought out this way, I also am a Gay women & I think you should let this pass. I love the entire cast of the show & would hate to see anyone leave under these conditions.

I hate to say that he deserves to be fired, but that is exactly the case. The incident itself in October was deplorable. It’s most unfortunate that Isaiah chose to lie about the entire situation. He is showing by his actions that he is truly a person with a great deal of anger and hatred inside himself. He is not only a liar, he’s also a homophobe. I will concede the reporter bringing up the incident at the Golden Globes was not acceptable, but Isaiah could have chosen to IGNORE the reporter. His choice… to grab the microphone, continue his diatribe of hate and lies. He’s gotta go!

I do not think that Isaiah Washington should be fired. The only reason why this is receiving so much attention is because they are celebrities. Things like this are happening everyday yet Isaiah’s comments are being magnified. Everyone needs to be adult and move on. I can’t believe we are still dealing with this. It is really beginning to turn me off to the show and I personally love Isaiah Washington’s character. If he is removed, I won’t be open to ANYONE ELSE playing his character and will not watch the show anymore.

Mr. Washington’s work on Grey’s Anatomy is OUTSTANDING…One of the only shows I find entertaining on ABC. Based on personal experiences.. Mr. Washington has been called names based on his complexion alone without recourse his entire life… However, defending himself from a press quote… out character for sure but… backed against the wall people may say something that they regret… apologize and forget it.. quit it and forget it.. This is still America … is it not?… lets get on with more positive programing… Thanks Mr. Washington for your hard work to become the Outstanding Actor you are.

Mr. Washington has apologized. I’m quite sure he sorry for all the attention that the show has been getting. I don’t feel he should be fired. Why can’t the show behave as adults and go on with the show. Being a minority I have been addressed with racial slurs. Get over it. Life goes on. I’m quite sure TR has been called that name before. I think the show is great. Any firing will hurt the show. I know I would stop watching it. Move on!

Let’s look at the big picture here. One news reporter decides to open up a really sore wound at the most inappropriate time. The “Golden Globes”. He hit a nerve in Isiah and WAM! Ishiah responded. What else did you think he would do. You back somone in a corner and they come out swinging! Isiah has made his apologies. True, he should have used a better choice of words to respond to the reporter. But enough already. The mews media would kill there own mother if it meant for good ratings!
