My dad was killed by a drunk driver when I was in the 1st grade. We did get some money from the accident but I never saw it because I was a minor when it happened. My mom spent it all on herself. I don’t depend on my mom financially or she don’t depend on me financially. I paid my own way to college and when I was having financial hardship my mom was not there for me. If anything happens to me, it would be awful if my mom sued for 50 million dollars and got rich because of my death.

This civil suit is to address future loss of income that this person could have contributed to her family if she was still alive.
