I have watched American Idol since the first show aired…I wouldn’t miss it for any other show on T.V.

American Idol, it’s a no-brainer. I really think it’s a bad idea to air both at the same time for the simple reason; American Idol has been on longer and has a much stronger fan base.

Definately American Idol is the one to watch. Dancing is a great show, just not in the same league. I love that they’re NOT on at the same time. I wouldn’t go there if I were “Dancing”!

Idol all the way!!! I love Dancing With the Stars, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Idol. Idol is an event; Dancing is just a TV show. Besides, only Idol has the incomparable SIMON COWELL!!!:) And it’s far more exciting to watch the process of finding a new singing star than to watch celebrities demonstrate their dance abilities.

Oh definitely Idol, it has everything that Dancing is missing, comedy (those attempting to “show their talent”), drama (the upset people not chosen), serious NON-talent, heck especially those that get on there thinking they know how to sing at the beginning, those are the best ones to watch. Dancing doesn’t have that at the start, and thats where AI catches and keeps hold of me. And it also has the things Dancing has, talent and loads of it.

There would be no choice about it, American Idol all the way!!

It really doesn’t matter what time Idol is on I won’t watch it. I mean,I might as well go down to the local bar for karaoke night. You’ve got talentless morons acting like, well, morons, and you’ve got nasty, ignorant people being judgmental. Their only redeeming quality is that they are usually drunk. What’s Simon’s excuse??? No, it’s Dancing for me, at least that takes SOME talent…

I would choose Dancing with the Stars over Idol. Dancing With The Stars is my favorite show. I would record Idol and watch Dancing with the Stars. Then I could fast forward through all the crap on Idol that I am not interested in.

I’m not sure this is the right place, but I will watch both Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. VCR’s are wonderful inventions. Won’t miss either one of them.

If American Idol and Dancing with the Stars are on at the same time, I will have a very difficult time making a decision. I love them both!!! I will be hoping it doesn’t happen. Hopefully I will be able to watch one and record the other if it does.
