There's no doubt fans will be talking about the film, "Dreamgirls," for years to come.

And for the movie's stars, Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx, they will also never forget what "Dreamgirls" did to them.

For Beyoncé, this movie was a dream ride and a daring chance to prove she's got serious range.

"This was the first time I had a part to show that I could play someone other than myself," the singer revealed. "And she was so different from me that I don't recognize myself at all on screen."

And weighing 20 pounds lighter in the film, you might not recognize Beyoncé either.

"I asked the director if I could lose weight because I'm known to be a curvy woman, and I didn't want any trace of me," Beyoncé dished of her magical transformation. "It was hard, but I'm looking at the movie, and I'm like, 'Oh my God! Who was that? That was not me!'"

For "American Idol's" Jennifer Hudson, this movie is a coming out party. Hudson beat out 782 other women for the role in her first ever film, in which she also shot her first big-screen love scene.

"It's kind of hard when it's an army of cameramen, and you got to go through a love scene your first time in your first film with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx," she admitted.

But if Jennifer was nervous, she had everyone fooled -- including Jamie himself!

"When she first delivered her line to me, she didn't shake, didn't waver. Like, 'I don't give a damn if you're Jamie Foxx, Oscar whatever, BET Award,'" Foxx joked. "'Whatever it is, I'm going to let you have it in your face, just the acting.'"

Foxx also exuded quite the self-control while filming, especially when it came to kissing his Bootylicious co-stars.

"I just turned that part of myself off," he admitted. "I said, 'I'm going to leave that other Jamie at home, hang him up in the closet because that Jamie would have been like, ahhhhh!'"

As for Eddie Murphy's decision to participate in "Dreamgirls," he revealed that he jumped aboard because the role scared him half to death.

"I wanted to do something I hadn't done before," he said. "I wanted to do something that would make me a little nervous about doing it as well."
