America has decilined so much by the inches given. The “Oh - it’s ok this time” attitude has yeilded the society we are in today. Look at the last 50 years alone. Due to moral decline we had less violent crime and theft, a more trust worthy government, and police forces.

I believe we have gained a few feet since then, and the world of right an wrong are almost upside down. Violent crime and theft is out of control, no one trust the government, and you are stupid if you think the police haven’t made big mistakes with innocent people on a regular basis these days. Truth be damned, pin it on someone so the general public feel’s safer. How are we safer if the real perp is still out there? Easy … Perception is reality!

Everyone in the 50’s era had a humility about consequence of their actions. Today the general public doesn’t care about theirs or others. You may be willing to blur the line when it comes to homosexuality. That it is ok, and just an alternate lifestyle. It can easily be resolved to “well.. they were just born that way”.. Really? If that is the card you play, then be willing to apply it to child molesters, and serial killers. Still feel the same?

If you are still liberal enough to accept this, then make sure you are part of the welcoming committee the next time a sexual preditor moves into the neighborhood. You should have no problem with that.. after all… this was in their younger past, and they were born that way!

I think that if Miss USA had another shot, Katie should too. The pictures are from 5 years ago, people change and I think she did. She has always been in pageants and being in the Miss USA was a dream of hers. I think the wrong choice was made.

I believe that this is a big mistake. How can they say yes to one pagent and no to the other. We all made mistakes in our pasts and the thing that matters the most is if we learn from them. Bill Clinton made a huge mistake, he still was able to continue the presidentcy without being impeached. Would you call him a role modle? I think she should be given another chance.

I think given that these photos were taken when she was a minor we should cut her some slack. How many of us have done things we wish we didn’t do at 17? Even a court of law can’t you a persons juvenille record. She’s 22 now, I believe she must have matured or she wouldn’t even have entered the contest to begin with.
