Is Rosie Panning for 'The Price is Right'?

Rosie O'Donnell jetted off to Miami over the weekend to raise money for her charity, "Rosie's For All Kids," aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise liner.

Once on deck, Rosie and friends christened the world's first floating bowling alley and shared in a day of fundraising for a cause close to the talk show queen's heart.

"We've raised a half a million dollars this evening," Rosie told "Extra."

In between frames of her bowling game, the funny lady set the record straight about reports she's leaving "The View" for her ultimate dream job: hosting the game show, "The Price is Right."

"See, I want 'The Price is Right,' but no one has offered me 'The Price is Right,'" Rosie admitted.

O'Donnell also revealed that her contract with "The View" would actually allow her to take over Bob Barker's job if it becomes available.

"It is a clause in my contract, but they apparently don't want me, which is sort of sad because I have visions for 'The Price is Right,'" Rosie joked. "But what I told Barbara when she asked was, 'Let's go one year at a time, and we'll see how it fits in with my family.'"

Rosie and her partner Kelli told "Extra" they've been talking it over with their four children.

"We'll come up with the right decision," Kelli said. "And if not, it's not the end of the world either."

Rosie, an adoptive mom, also gave us her own personal "View" of the news that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are thinking of adopting another child.

"I've spoken to her a few times; we don't know each other very well, but I have tremendous admiration, and I have tremendous respect for her and her decision," O'Donnell admitted. "Good for her."

However, don't expect Rosie and Kelli to follow Brangelina's suit.

"For us, four's enough," Rosie insisted.

well you all complain and was afraid Rosie being the host and now look who you got DREW which is as boring as a pi**ant, i have watch it all week and he does not have it, it should of been Rosie who hosted, at least it would had been fun, Drew is horrible as the host and I’m not watching it anymore. This poor child Drew doesn’t even know the games on the show and has to read cards to what’s going on, yuck!!!

The thought of Rosie being anywhere on TV makes me sick to my stomach. I stopped watching the View when she joined them. NO, it isn’t because she is a lesbian. That would be stupid. I can’t stand her for the same reasons I can’t stand Roseanne Barr. I can’t stand her because she is loud-mouth, common, and you can just feel the negative energy coming through the TV! I tried to watch her talk show a few times if I noticed that she was going to have an interesting guest. I could never make it through. She makes my head hurt. If TPIR hires her, I’ll stop watching it too. I think Doug Davidson (Paul on the Young & Restless) would be a fabulous host. He has hosted it before and did a wonderful job.

I hope those of you who have been using such vulgar and trashy language on this post do not kiss your children good night with that mouth. Every word you spin into a web of your karmaich future. The funny thing is most of you who do not like Rosie, used to be the first to tune into her talk show to see your favorite celebrities and see who she kooshed that day. Is it the fact she is a lesbian that upsets you? When something affects your behavior as much as Rosie being the host of TPIR I have to wonder what skeletons are you hiding in your closet. I commend Rosie for standing up for our Troops and their families. Our youth dieing over greed has been happening for generations. We as americans can stand up against these greedy immoral politicians, but yet we sit by and write nasty posts about those who act out in our behalf. I hope Rosie never reads this page of hate for she does not deserve it, her loving nature is what makes her so great. She may be out spoken, but what do you think was said about Susan B Anthony. They said she was an aggressive, loud mouth, man hater, etc.

Our future as a society all depends on our memmory of the past. Wake up and live by the book you so cherish.

Why hasn’t anyone suggested Mark Walberg?? He has done a terrific job on many game shows such as Russian Roulette and Temptation Island. He’s young, handsome and funny! He would be better than Mr. Barker even.

I Think Adam Sandler should try. After all, he’s the stage manager on the show. Rosie wouldn’t be serious on TPIR; nor would she be sincere.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ROSIE TO TAKE OVER BOB BARKERS ROLL, SHE WILL DEGRADE IT/ HER ACTIONS ON THE VIEW WERE HORRIBLE, SO I WOULD NEVER WATCH IT. AND NOW WITH THE WAY SHE DRESSED HER CHILD, SHE NEEDS TO SEEK A COUNSELOR FOR HERSELF, THERE IS DEFENITLY SOMETHING WRONG WITH HER VIEW. PLEASE DON’T EVEN GIVE HER MUCH ATTENTION IN THE NEWS GETS BORING.

Bob Barker hosted an infamous and classy 35 year run on one of the most timeless of all game shows. If Rosie O’Donnell becomes his replacement, the “Price is Right” will become nothing more than a platform for her self-righteous antics. Rosie will not be able to handle being upstaged by excited contestants, endearing games, and fabulous prizes. Bob had unquestionable charisma, but he also understood that he was the show’s host, not the show’s star. This is why he was so beloved.

Bob Barker brought dignity and humour to the show of which I have been watching for 30 years. Rosie does not have either in my opinion. I would never watch it again if she were hired to do the show. It is or was a family show and Rosie would not represent family viewing in my opinion.
