Pin-thin socialite Nicole Richie has only been dating Hilary Duff’s ex, Joel Madden, for a few weeks, but sources say their romance is moving at full speed.

When Nicole was arrested Sunday night on Burbank’s 134 freeway for driving on the wrong side of the road, it was Joel who came to her rescue.

Spies say Madden was listed on Nicole’s booking papers as her “emergency contact person.”

Looks like Joel wasted no time bouncing back onto the dating scene after his recent breakup with Hilary.

The 'Dreamgirls' Get A Supreme Surprise

It was a dream come true for the cast of "Dreamgirls" Monday night, as Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy encountered a Supreme surprise on the red carpet: one of the original Supremes, Mary Wilson.

As the all-star ensemble hit the L.A. red carpet alongside fellow A-listers including Teri Hatcher, Dr. McSteamy, Shirley MacLaine, Snoop Dogg, Vivica A. Fox, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, they had no idea "Extra" was about to unleash our very own secret weapon.

Wilson, who is enjoying a resurgence in fame thanks to the DVD, "Reflections: The Definitive Performances," was part of the legendary group whose story loosely shaped the "Dreamgirls" script.

When our "Extra" special correspondent stepped out on our behalf, she herself created a photo frenzy and left the "Dreamgirls" cast in utter disbelief.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stepped out in the Big Apple Monday night hand in hand as they made their first red carpet appearance together as a couple.

“Extra’s” cameras captured the tender moments between Brangelina as they gently rubbed each other’s backs at the premiere of Angie’s new movie “The Good Shepherd,” where Brad caught up with our very own A.J. Calloway.

“I’m off duty tonight,” Brad insisted.

A stunning Angelina was the center of attention in a beautiful Reem Acra gown, and she revealed the thrill of working with Matt Damon and star-director Robert De Niro.

“He is so lovely, so patient… guiding, like a parent,” Angie gushed of the Hollywood legend.

Monday night marked the super mom’s first premiere since the birth of Baby Shiloh, and also her last public outing before making headlines with her all-new bombshell interview in Vogue.

Despite being spotted over the weekend in Hawaii with David Spade, it seems that Heather Locklear may have a new man.

Us Weekly's Katrina Szish revealed that the beautiful actress has been spotted with another Hollywood hottie -- Christina Applegate’s ex-husband, Johnathon Schaech.

“They’ve gone on a few dates, and sources say Heather really likes him, but they aren’t serious yet,” Szish revealed.

“Extra” has learned that Heather and Johnathon met on the set of a new Lifetime movie they are starring in.

Brit's Make Out Buddy Turns Out to Be Friend of K-Fed's

We were the first to show you Britney’s very public lip lock with music producer, J.R. Rotem, over the weekend.

But when “Extra” caught up with the music man, who was wearing shades and partying in Hollywood Monday night, J.R. avoided questions about the pop princess.

J.R. has also worked with Britney’s ex in the past, and on Tuesday, we learned that Kevin Federline is Fed-Up with J.R. and even deleted him from his friends list on MySpace.

Young Hollywood Takes Home Breakthrough Honors

Hollywood’s most promising newcomers shined at this year’s Hollywood Magazine’s Breakthrough Awards in Los Angeles.

“The Devil Wears Prada” star Anne Hathaway dazzled in the latest trend, an empire-waisted Oscar de la Renta with a bubble skirt, as she received the Star of the Year award.

Also honored at the event were “Dreamgirl” Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Biel, who joked, “They must have got the wrong person; they must be kidding!”

Life Gets More Complicated for Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie was alone Sunday night when cops pulled her over in Burbank, Calif., and arrested her on DUI charges.

The pin-thin starlet was talking on her cell phone when cops pulled over her black Mercedes SUV, which matched a 911 caller's description of a car driving the wrong way down L.A.'s 134 freeway.

After failing a field sobriety test, Nicole was taken into custody at 4:50 am.

According to TMZ.com, the 5'1", 85-pound reality star told Glendale police she had taken Vicodin and smoked marijuana after preliminary screenings that indicated she was not under the influence of alcohol.

"Extra's" also learned Nicole was released on $15,000 bail.

Britney Caught Making Out with Mystery Man

“Extra” spotted Britney Spears smooching, snuggling and sitting on the lap of a new mystery man over the weekend.

We spotted the suddenly brunette pop princess and her new guy leaving a viewing of “The Holiday” Sunday night at The Grove in Los Angeles.

From there, the two showed some serious PDA for one another in the shadows of a nearby restaurant.

Will Wedding Bells Ring for Brangelina?
